Classic jeans for classic men
If you think nose rings or eyeliner on men is ridiculous, this style of jean might be right for you. If you think skinny jeans, bell bottoms, or potato-sack baggy pants are silly, this is definitely the cut you are searching for. It is the style of jeans that says, "Hey, I don't need to make a fashion statement to be appreciated." About six years ago, my middle-aged brother gave me a pair of Rustler jeans that he had outgrown. Thanks, Bro. Didn't think too much about it because he also gave me a bunch of other clothes. That changed last week, when I realized I needed to purchase more pants for the upcoming winter. Surprisingly, the only item left from that gift pile was the Rustler jeans. I am an outdoors guy. I fish, hike, cut cords of firewood each season, repair all my equipment, and post youtube videos of my lawn renovations. More than "rough" on clothing. In the six years I've worn the Rustlers, I've destroyed nearly a dozen pairs of work shoes and countless pairs of those khaki (and charcoal) name-brand work pants. The jeans outlasted my huge stash of ball caps. So, I googled "RUSTLER Jeans" to find a source. I was shocked to learn this was a brand sold by Walmart! I was even more shocked to learn these jeans could be purchased from Amazon (free Prime delivery) for less than $12. Compare that price to a pair of Levis. Admittedly, I've never owned a pair of Levi jeans. I've heard they last forever. But, the size and shape of a typical American male does not last forever. Think about that. Great jeans; especially love the "stone-washed" color. They match my lifestyle. I wear jeans when I work. Might choose an alternate color if I wore jeans to a social function. I read some interesting BAD reviews about these pants. A common complaint is size. Mine fit perfectly. 38x30.Same as the ones my brother gave me. Not hinting that a wrong size was ordered....mistakes can happen at the warehouse. Amazon offers free returns if the fit was wrong. Several unhappy customers complained that the front pocket did not accommodate their modern cell phone. Are they talking about the "watch pocket" on the right hip? I don't own a pocket watch; but my flip phone does fit in that pouch. I suspect today's "watch pocket" is simply an ornamentation to retain that classic look. My two front pockets are huge. What sort of device could not fit into a pocket 5 inches wide and 8 inches deep? I just returned from the creek where I was working on my irrigation ram pump. Everything I needed to do the job fit into my pockets. These are Classic jeans. That means functional in a traditional way. If you're looking for more, why are you shopping the $12 buck category? Anyhow, ordered a new set of Rustlers. They got superbly filthy on the first project. Did a load of laundry; and HONESTLY could not distinguish the new jeans from the old pair. That speaks volumes about durability. They did not shrink or change color. Amazing performance for a garment that is 100% cotton. If you are shopping for a pair of classic jeans that can last years, this is a very smart purchase. Five stars.

Sizing trust issue
I ordered 40x34. Received 38x32.5. I HATE returning things. If you wanted to get a different size, how are you supposed decide what size that is if the label is deceptive? If a 40 is a 38, is a 38 a 36? I have been a customer since 2000. Shopping is no longer a pleasure, it is a lot of work. Mostly, guess work...Asian sizing, shrinkage, cheap fabrics, poor workmanship..the list goes on. Reading reviews, going over answered questions...no wonder they started the try it before you buy it policy, which I did not think I ever needed. Amazon dictates the policies, MAKE your manufactures comply with US sizing. Or take your business somewhere else.

Fit
I like the fit better then Levi and wrangler. The quality is pretty equal. They are made my wrangler. Ok they’re 14 bucks, who cares unless you need to impress someone with name brands.

small around waist
material is nice but waist is at lease 1' smaller than indicated size. so if you order these go up at least one size in waist. even then I'm not sure what true size you will get.

Miniature front pockets
I love Rustler jeans. I have been wearing them for many years. They are a great jean at a great price. Imagine my disappointment then when I realized the decided to save a fraction of a cent by reducing the depth of the front pockets by about 30%! Just when we need deeper pockets for the latest cell phones etc. Rustler decides to make them smaller! They are still good jeans otherwise, but beware, your phone will no longer fit in your front pocket!

Commentary On The Quality Of Today's Clothing
I am very disappointed. I stopped buying the Rustler brand at a nationwide discount department store because I figured this chain was buying old stock/ merchandise resulting in me having dry-rot holes in my Rustler jeans in less than three months after purchase. I am having the same problem with this brand from Amazon in about the same time period. I have also experienced this problem with at least two other brands of jeans. I wear these jeans 99℅ of the time to work only, wearing them about once weekly. I have five to six pair just to try to insure that I don't wear them out to quickly. To no avail, three months of wear is the most I have been able to get out of my jeans before holes appear. I am an automotive parts delivery driver in case you are wondering, not a cowboy.

Great sturdy work jeans!!
Great sturdy jean material, perfect for manual labor. Don't let the price turn you away. Cheap doesn't always mean bad quality!I ended up buying my husband 3 more pairs of these. I didn't tell him the price until he actually wore the first pair to work. Just because some people see $10 pants, they think something has to be wrong with them.My hubby loves every color & style!Guys, or partners, you have to buy at least one pair. I promise you that you won't be disappointed!!!
