I haven’t used the needles but I’ve made plent of Rouladea. Stuffed chicken breast as well. Goat cheese, little provolone, herbs. I use the twine to tie it shut.

Craptacular Trussing Needles – Misleading Junk
These are not stainless steel. Period. I used the one in the photo less than five times. I washed it with soap and water, even ran it through the dishwasher after the last use. Now it looks like a rusty nail pulled from an old fence post.Stainless steel doesn’t rust from basic cleaning. So what exactly is this made of? Some kind of bargain-bin mystery metal? If I can’t trust what the product is made from, I sure don’t want it anywhere near my food.I’m tired of companies lying just to make a sale. This isn’t a cooking tool. It’s a tetanus shot waiting to happen.
