So far, this is the best dry cat-food I've found at the price point of $30 for 13.5lbs. It does container filler carb-heavy ingredients cat's shouldn't be eating, such as oats, but it claims to be at least 70% animal protein, while other brands might have "chicken as the #1 ingredient" but leave you guessing "how much" due to the number of filler ingredients that follow.Unfortunately, the price does seem to fluctuate a lot, between $29 to $45 so far. I'll continue buying so long as one of the flavors is around $29, however any higher and I may switch my cats to wet-food full time.

September 30, 2024Purchased this 4 lb bag in August 2024. It is great quality, clean ingredients including supplements etc very good. I paid $10.00 +r some cents hich i figured was arather exceptional price, however I was disappointed o find it here, a month later to be priced over $22.00, now by a 3rd party. Although I expected a price increase - this is a bit much to accept, so onto the next deal that will likely end up the same! It is a quality product so if the overpricing isn't an issue for you, your kitty() will probably ike it.

I actually buy this for my hedgehog because of the fat/protein ratios. It's a great addition to his diet of hedgehog food and mealworms. He seems to like the size of the kibble. No strong smell to it that would be off putting for him. So overall a great cat food for hedgehogs!

I buy regular dry food to use a treats however the dry food has to have something special, this food does not. Well but be a repeat buyer.

I dislike that it has too many unknown ingredients. A couple of years ago I would have been happy with this but I have switched to feeding them grain free and more organic ingredients since they are getting older. I also try for less preservatives and this has too many. So I just put a little in with the better stuff to give them a little something different, until it is gone.The price is very good, especially on sale. This why I have a couple of bags left, I bought like 5 of them in March and it is July now, 1 1/2 bags left.They seem to like the taste and the smell of it and if it weren't for my trying to help them to live longer, they would eat just this. The vitamin is very good for them, which is why I continue to use it.
