A great additional to any photographer or videographers gear. Quality is as expected from smallrig so you know you're getting good value. It can be a little tricky setting up, especially with a kitted out camera, but if you set the angle or the arms before attaching it to anything it makes the job a bit smoother, likewise with trying to find the right position etc. I'd love a version that's modular so you can attach another arm to make it a 3 point axis, but the two arm design works well.

I am very happy with the 10 Inch Magic Arm and the clamp, the arm works very well and holds my camera monitor in place with no issues, very light weight but made from very strong material, you can adjust it on the go which is very handy, when it locks in place it really is very solid and does not move but what I like the most is it can be placed in Multiple angles to help with photography or filming equipment such as lights, mics, monitors, and many other items that are used when working indoors or outdoors, and there is just one butterfly screw that locks the whole lot in place once it is tightened, very happy thank you.

I actually use this a lot. Usually to clamp onto a table or somewhere in my car to make videos. It’s a little fidly to get your (small) camera into the right position (it’s not really made for this purpose), but once it’s in position it stays in this position. Very sturdy.
