I like the fact that this has us of peas allowing you to put in whichever combination of ports and media differences that you like as long as they match the same speed. It is compatible with other third-party SFPs however it would be nice if they listed the compatibility list on this listing instead of waiting to get it and then finding the list in the box. I would have ordered compatible long-range SFPs for single mode and multi mode if I would have known which ones to get. Your loss of sale fulfilling to list compatible parts.

Just to help others out searching!!!Needed something cheap to be a full 2.5gb media converter - to optically isolate internet from firewall.have comcast modem 1.2gb service with 2.5gb copper with unifi (UACC-CM-RJ45-MG) rj45 sfp+ on one side,then udmpro 10gb with AOC cable (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B08TSZ5TH1) on the other side.so cable modem, bridge mode, 2.5gb copper to 10gb firewall, optically isolated - running full paid speed, peaking over 1400didn't want to spend $200 and more to just run fiber to the modem, and this worked with SFP+ and AOC parts i already had!!!hope this

The device is a passive converter which means it acts just as a power supply for SFP modules, the RX/TX lines are hardwired with traces between SFP modules, so it doesn't add any latency.I use it with FS.com (SFP-2.5G-T) to convert it into 2.5GBASE-T over RJ-45 copper cable that connects to Asus GT-AX6000.

the only option to convert 2.5G from fiber optic to ethernet LAN, works very good.

Just what I needed from fiber 2.5G to RJ-45 2.5G and a patch cord cat6e to my router. Top speed from my ISP.
