Absolutely love it! Make coffee has never been better!
Firstly, this is truly a coffee table book - it's a beautiful book and am super happy to own it even just for the aesthetic. It was accidental, but I went fully pretentious and took it into a very nice cafe to read while sipping on a piccolo, which thanks to the book, I now better understand! The book takes you from understanding coffee and what to look for when buying it, through tasting, brewing, and making all types of coffee. It's written in a very casual, enjoyable and relatable style along with very helpful pictures and diagrams to assist. I mostly brew my coffee using a moka pot and just putting into practice a couple of tips in the book instantly changed my coffee for the better! (For the curious, using a Brita filter on my hard water has completely changed the extraction now and I also wasn't boiling the water before putting it into the moka pot) If you have even a remote interest in coffee, I wholly recommend this book. Thoroughly enjoyed it and have found that I've changed my habits in multiple ways since.

Good place to start for anyone wanting to get into making good coffee at home.
This is a great book for anyone wanting to get into making good coffee at home. It covers all the basics and has a lot of reference 'recipes' for the more experienced barista wanting to try out new methods. I still occasionally use it as a reference.

All you need to know about brewing coffee, clearly written
If Delia Smith had decided to write or commission a how-to-text for coffee lovers, I’m sure this would fulfil the brief. And as a devotee of Delia Smith I can offer no higher praise of James Hoffmann’s meticulously written and charmingly illustrated book.

How To Make The Best Coffee At Home is a great little book for anyone who truly loves coffee and enjoys the process as much as the final cup. It’s easy to read, not overly technical, and makes improving your coffee at home feel fun rather than complicated. The tips are practical and approachable, with lots of small insights that actually make a difference in everyday brewing. I gave this book as a gift alongside a few coffee essentials, and it felt like the perfect companion to them. It adds context and inspiration—helping turn good tools and beans into great coffee. As a bonus, it’s also just really cute on a bookshelf, so it feels as much like a coffee-lover’s keepsake as it does a useful guide. It’s the kind of book you can flip through, learn something new each time, and put into practice the very next morning.

Muito bom e agradável. Sem frescuras, como muitos que tratam do café com paixão. Espero que saia logo em português para encontrar mais leitores no Brasil. Recomendo muito!

Not sure if I got a rogue copy. However, there is no title on the book cover, and the edges seems to be roughed out. I may have gotten a returned product.
