Review: easy to install - ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Excellent Quality, Easy Installation, and Great Brightness! I recently installed the Amico 12 Pack 6" Ultra-Thin LED Recessed Ceiling Lights, and I couldn’t be happier with the results. The lights are incredibly slim, making them perfect for areas where traditional cans won’t fit. Installation was straightforward thanks to the included junction boxes, and the build quality feels solid and reliable. The 5CCT selectable color temperatures are a huge bonus—being able to choose the perfect warmth or coolness for each room makes a noticeable difference. At 1050 lumens, each light is impressively bright while still only using 12W, so it's energy-efficient without sacrificing performance. They dim smoothly with no flicker, and the ETL & FCC certifications give extra peace of mind regarding safety and quality. Overall, these lights transformed my space and look fantastic. Excellent value for the price—highly recommended!
Review: Surprising quality! - I've installed a lot of lighting like this, so I'm definitely not new to the product nor the procedure. I've got to say that I'm a bit impressed with the quality of these -- they're comparable to what you might buy at the big-box home improvement chains in every way, but at a fraction of the cost. They were packaged very well, and not a single problem with any of them -- no crumpled gaskets, no twisted wires, no bent housings, no missing or broken parts. The installation experience was identical for each one, no troubles at all. More importantly, their performance is outstanding. The light throw is very thorough and even with absolutely no hot spots or shadows. And I am a bit impressed with their light output -- they're BRIGHT! And what I mean by that is they make more than enough light for their size, so it won't take many to evenly light a given space or room. The only complaint I have is on the diameter. They're Ø6.7", and they recommend cutting a 6.25" hole, leaving less than 1/4" of a lip for the light to hold onto. That leaves virtually no room for error, so if you plan to cut the hole by hand, be very, very, VERY careful that you undercut (and use a utility knife with a fresh blade rather than a keyhole saw). If you use a hole saw, the ones designed for 6" recessed lighting are usually 6-3/8", so you're in dangerous waters if you use one of those. In any case for drywall, if you somehow crumble or tear the edge of your hole, it WILL be visible when the light is installed. I used an adjustable hole saw (a Klein 53710), which could be adjusted in 1/4" increments, so I was able to cut the recommend size hole without any error, but it took a little effort to line up the light in the hole to make sure there were no visible gaps. Overall, this is an excellent buy. i can't speak on the longevity, of course, but given the overall quality and performance, I expect that these will last for many years.

## Features

- 5 CCT-in-1: 5 color temperature(2700K, 3000K, 3500K, 4000K, 5000K) is selectable to you, which successfully eliminates the hassle of returning or exchange products due to inappropriate color temperature. Just slide the switch on the side of the J-box and you will get the most-desired color that best fit in your room type.
- IC Rated: Amico's canless LED recessed light is IC rated, which is permitted to be in contact with insulations in ceilings, meaning the junction box is thermally protected. It only requires as small as 2 inches ceiling space. It won't have a fire hazard when light was installed in various ceilings and overhead joists.
- Easy Install: The low profile recessed lighting is suitable for retrofit and new decoration: Cut a hole in ceiling with 1:1 hole template; Connect the Jbox to the cable; Use spring clip to fix it on the ceiling. Hassle-free, the installation can be completed in minutes.
- High Brightness: The 6 inch slim pot lights use the world's leading LED chips with higher lumens and lower power. 1050LM consumes 12 Watts, which equals to 110W halogen lamp, saving you up to 90% in energy costs a year.
- Moisture Resistant: This light fixture is damp rated for reliable, long‑lasting performance in humid environments. It is suitable for use in damp locations such as bathrooms, basements, and covered outdoor areas (including soffits). For safe use, do not install in areas with direct water spray or standing water.
- Amico Benefits: Its long lifespan also reduces maintenance costs. All Amico's recessed lighting are certified by ETL of a high standard. Our customer support team will also address your concerns within 12 hours.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: Why Choose Us?**
A: Built to last. Designed for those who value long-term reliability. The high-quality aluminum housing (not plastic) offers excellent heat dissipation and consistent performance, with a rated lifespan of 50,000 hours.

**Q: Can the light be placed in wet or damp areas such as bathrooms?**
A: The light is damp-rated, which means it will be suitable for damp locations like bathrooms. But that does not mean waterproof. So it is best to install it above the shower to avoid direct contact with water.

**Q: What is the hole cutout size? Can these be used in narrow ceiling areas?**
A: We recommend that you cut a 6.2"-6.6" hole in the ceiling (Advised the cutout size: 6 1/4"). The light only requires as small as 2 inches ceiling spaces and fits various ceilings. No cans required. Great for new construction or remodel applications.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Nice lights, plenty bright
*by K***L on July 17, 2026*

So far, so good. Bought these because the electrician said to get these to replace (FINALLY) the old fluorescent lights in the basement. Excellent price and easy for him to install. One light replaced one fluorescent monster and is equal to a 75 watt bulb. Bright enough that we’re putting dimmer switches in. Simple design that sits flush in ceiling tiles. 4th picture is with 2 lights on and 5th picture is with 4 lights to show brightness. Only drawback, electrician says the driver (ballast) will need replacing before the lights burn out, but that will be far in the future.
