Best Pet Water Fountain out there, easy to clean too
Affordable, simple design, easy to use, and I especially like that the water bowl is deep enough so water does not spill out onto the floor, holds lots of water, very quiet, and if the water level is running low between cleanings you can just pour more water from the top without removing it, and the fountain motor you don't have to take it apart to clean it, filter removes very easily.

Almost perfect. But Best one out there.
First one lasted 2.5 years before motor gave up (which tbh was very impressive. i thought i paid 50 bucks for it and was stunned to find out it was only 20 dollars.). Tried 3 more "fancier" fountains since but ultimately decided to come back to this.Pros:1. transparent and makes quiet water sounds that remind cats of its existence, my cat drinks the most water with this one2. is the ONLY fountain that can be taken completely apart to clean. EVERY other fountain ive tried (a stainless steel one, a cordless one, and a ceramic one) all had some sort of plastic component attached to the stainless steel/ceramic that can't be removed or cleaned, which defeats the whole purpose imo3. not the fanciest filter but does what i need it to do and is very reasonably priced4. looks very pretty in personCons:1. you will need some type of tool to pry the top half and the bottom half apart. the pointy thing on veggie peelers works best for me2. is not cordless. which to be fair most cat fountains aren't. i would gladly pay 100 bucks for a cordless version of this fountain.to sum up, this fountain is the closest to perfection. don't be deterred by the fact that it's only 20 bucks. it might actually be the best cat fountain you can buy.

Reliable and Quiet – Still Going Strong After 3 Years!
I’ve been using the NPET WF050 Cat Water Fountain for over 3 years now, and it’s still running like a charm! This water fountain has been an excellent investment for my cat, keeping her hydrated with fresh, filtered water at all times. The 50oz/1.5L capacity is just the right size for my cat, and the design is sleek and compact enough to fit nicely in any room. What I really appreciate about this fountain is how quiet it is. It’s barely audible, which is perfect for me since I have sensitive ears, and my cat doesn’t get startled by the sound either. The faucet kit adds an extra fun element that my cat enjoys, and she often drinks directly from it.The fountain is easy to clean, and the filters do a good job at keeping the water fresh and clean. I also love the fact that it’s made to be low-maintenance, which saves me time and effort. It’s also surprisingly durable; despite using it daily, it’s still in great condition and continues to work flawlessly.Overall, I highly recommend this water fountain for anyone looking for a quiet, reliable, and long-lasting solution for their pets’ hydration needs. It’s been a game-changer for me and my cat!

Great fountain, challenging pump filter replacement
I’ve had this fountain for over 2 1/2 years now. It still works great and my kitties love it. It’s mostly easy to clean. The only reason I’m not giving it five stars is this:The pump lid won’t close securely (one side won’t click closed) with the pump filter installed. My fountain didn’t come with a pump filter installed, and because I rarely have to read instructions in today’s plug and play world, I didn’t even know you could use a pump filter. My last replacement filter order came with these filters too, so I read the instructions. You may not have to work as hard as I did to get the pump lid off, but it took me longer to open the pump and earnestly try to securely close the lid than it did to clean the rest of the unit.Time will tell if the pump lid will pop off or stay put. It would seem the pump filter may be an afterthought that the design didn’t account for.

Great water fountain for cats (or dogs.) USB power doesn't come with wall adapter.
I bought this to replace a cat fountain I bought years ago that had broken. Previous cats we have owned had kidney issues, and the vet has always recommended encouraging drinking by having a perpetual fountain like this or by leaving a faucet trickling. This fountain is very good overall, here are my pros and cons:Pros:- It is transparent, so you can easily see the water level, and whether the water is "dirty", etc.- It is a simple attractive design, and is small enough that it doesn't get in the way.- The fountain is very quiet. The only time I hear it al all is when the water level gets a little low, and is dripping between the filter and the reservoir. (Or when my cats are noisily lapping at the water.)- The fountain is (mostly) easy to clean. The relatively simple design is pretty much two big sections (top and bottom). The top contains the compartment with the replaceable filter and the spout. The bottom is just the water reservoir and where the small pump is placed/submerged.- The filter is easy to get to, and replacements are easy to obtain. I have also found aftermarket (non-OEM) filters that are cheaper.- The price. This is the correct price point for a fountain like this.- Our cats love it.Cons:- It holds an overall smaller volume of water than I had hoped. It is less a gallon (1.5l = ~.4 gallons,) so it needs to be refilled a bit more frequently. The good news is that it can easily be refilled by (slowly) pouring fresh water in the top. (The filter is a simple gravity feed between the top "bowl" and the lower reservoir, so if it doesn't drain well when refilling, that's a good indicator that filter is dirty and needs to be cleaned or replaced.)- Like any similar fountain, they do need to be dismantled and cleaned periodically. This design is simpler than others I have used, and it is isn't difficult to clean, per se, but it isn't dishwasher safe (at least that isn't recommended by the manufacturer,) so a thorough hand cleaning is necessary. (It can get a little slimy if you let it go too long.) Definitely pay attention to the pump intake and the filter areas.- The only thing that is occasionally finicky is the correct placement of the pump in the lower reservoir. The feed pipe to the spout on top can be a little fussy to align properly when putting it back together.- I am cheap and I manually clean the filters in an effort to reuse them a few times before replacing them. I have tried running it without a filter, which is possible, but it makes it much more likely that dust and pet hair will build up on and block the pump water intake, reducing the flow and potentially shortening the life of the pump itself. Bottom line: Use the filters and thoroughly clean the fountain every couple of weeks.- The pump power cord is USB only, and they do not include a power adapter to plug into an AC wall outlet. This wasn't a big deal for me as I have USB ports in a nearby outlet. Plus, in any modern home, most folks will have extra USB wall adapter laying around, but you will need one to plug it in.- Newer versions of this fountain appear to a water level sensor that helps protect the pump, but if you have the model I have, if the water level gets too low, the pump cannot operate. I thought it had burned out a couple of times, but after a good deep cleaning and rinsing, it has always restored to full flow and quiet operation.Again, overall, I really like the fountain, and would recommend.
