Good price, easy fit and will hold garage doors open when needed. Love this product

Easy to install and does the job

Works well to stop an inside garage door from slamming.4/5 because the mechanism doesn't allow for the door to fully open, it opens most of the way though. That's possibly down to the design of my door more than the product. It does give peace of mind that my young son and dog won't get caught by a slamming door though, the slow closing works fine. Worth the purchase for me.

NB shutting speed is slower at night, faster during day when it’s warmer as its hydraulic.Install the big unit first - make sure it’s the correct way up: The 2 speed dials should be facing the hinge side, not the door opening side.2. Then you have to slightly press the arm (away from the hinge) to align the arm flush against the frame. Mark the screw holes… We had to do this twice (see photo) so don’t make the same mistake. The mount for the arm should be just further away from the hinge than the larger unit itself.Dial 1 is the door close speed and dial 2 is the locking speed (which can accelerate to make sure it pushes past any resistance)NB. Had to remove my doors draft stopper so it shut fully. But it slams hard if you unscrew the dials too much.

I purchased this item because it stated that it was compliant to BS EN1154 - The item is not marked as such, and there is no documentation in the box to confirm that it is compliant.Four instruction leaflets were enclosed - None of them were in English.Essentially, this was a waste of my time and money.I'm not even allowed to give it zero starsUnhappy of Sussex

Small and nice design but unfortunately very poor quality

Good quality product. Easy to assemble and its strong. Holds door open and soft closes. Has adjustment for speed as you require it to close .

Mi piso da a ambas fachadas lo cual hacia imposible abrir ventanas a ambos lados,portazos tremendos, la corriente me esconchaba los tabiques incluso me sacaba las jambas de los portazos ,es un piso turístico y nadie tenía cuidado con estoLA SOLUCION PERFECTA!! Las hemos colocado en todas las habitaciones, no es difícil colocar solo seguir el vídeo, y nunca más hubo un portazo por corriente que haya se cierran suave una maravilla

Funktioniert wie beschrieben, Aufbau problemlos. Einzig das finale Schließen der Türe ist zu "kraftvoll" und "laut". Wenn man einen leisen, langsamen, aber zugleich kraftvollen Türschließer sucht, dann muss man vermutlich in einer anderen Preisliga schauen.

The media could not be loaded. I did install the item, and it is a bit complicated: 6 screws and some alignment to perform.The door is a bit hard to push to open.Then it holds the door if pushed a bit more than 90 degrees. I like that feature.Pulling a bit the door will start the process of closing. It closes slowly but it is not strong enough at the end to finish the closure. It's almost there and maybe if I move a screw it would do it.I do regret there no way to act on the spring strength. One can only change the speed but not the strength. The speed is controlled by some valves that let liquid go through I think.
