The best shampoo & conditioner out there!
I used another, larger brand that was quite expensive and had varying quality bar shampoos/conditioners before I bought this citrus bergamot set. I was impressed immediately once I began using these! The shampoo takes any product or leave-in or curl-enhancer I use in one wash. It lathers better and more quickly than other bar shampoos I've used. I have super long and thick hair, so washing and conditioning with bars was pretty time consuming with some products. The conditioner was similarly easy to apply, and while the shampoo left my hair feeling completely clean, the conditioner is like this perfect lotion that smooths the hair cuticles and rinses perfectly away, no residue, but leaves my hair silky soft, light, manageable, never any tangles, and no added weight. I love it! Excellent shampoo and conditioner, the best I've used in my life, and I've probably used the majority of the middle-higher end products out there. I will forever buy this, though I will try other scents/types. But you can't go wrong with the citrus bars. And the scent is awesome. Not acidic citrus, but citrus-y like sweet summer oranges and neroli blossom.

Amazing product
This is my first experience with hair care bars and, I’ve got to say, this stuff is fantastic! The shampoo lathers extremely well and doesn’t use very much. And the conditioner leaves the heat nice and calm. Also love that it’s fragrance free and cruelty free. Will buy again and again.

No reason not to try it! (Long review)
I wasn't entirely satisfied with the shampoos I was already using, and I figured, why not try out the ones that are better for the planet? Here's the thing: It's better for the planet. If you're not 100% happy with your current shampoo anyway (and really, who is?), why not give it a try? There's really NO reason not to try it - and if you're already reading reviews, you probably are at least mulling it over. I'll try to be as helpful as I can in this thorough review!First Things First/General Considerations•Better for the earth doesn't mean it's great for all hair types. But if it doesn't work for you, try out another bar shampoo before going back to the bottle! They aren't all the same.•This contains coconut oil like many bar shampoos do, so look out if you have an allergy.•The ingredients are similar to most bottle shampoos, including sulfates (curly girls beware). If you want a more natural shampoo, this bar [probably] ain't it, chief.•If you lose hair easily, be careful with bar shampoo and conditioner, because they rely more on friction than liquids do. I've noticed more hair loss with the bar, though not enough that I'm concerned.•I have yet to try any bar shampoo that actually lasted me longer than bottle shampoo, so this isn't saving money. It's worth it to me not to contribute to plastic waste, though. For reference, my thick hair is to my collar bone, I wash it about every other day, and I normally run out of this shampoo and conditioner in 2-3 months.•Some bar shampoos leave a residue that you need to wash out with a different, clarifying shampoo every so often, especially if your bar contains wax. I haven't noticed that in the several months I've been using this shampoo, and my hair is unusually susceptible to being weighed down.•The bars will obviously eventually break down, but they're still useful even when they're tiny. The conditioner will eventually break and shatter like normal bar soap does, but the shampoo bar will become mushier and mushier until you're just pinching off pieces of the blob to wash your hair with. Just so you know what to expect. How To Use ItThere is a bit of a learning curve, and please know that it does take a bit longer to wash your hair with bar shampoo and conditioner than with the liquid kind. At least, that's certainly true for me!Shampoo: First off, DO NOT apply the shampoo bar directly to your hair. That's a recipe for hair loss, wasting a lot of shampoo, and having a gross, hairy bar unless you're super careful. Instead, I've found it's best to lather the shampoo bar between my hands, then put it aside and massage the lathered shampoo onto my scalp and down to the ends of my hair, like I would do with liquid shampoo. Make sure your hair is super wet when you do this (you may have to add water to your hair mid-shampooing), because when using a bar, the liquid that normally helps move your shampoo around in your hair has to come from somewhere besides the shampoo itself. Rinse as usual.Conditioner: You DO apply this bar directly to your hair, unless you have incredibly short or maybe super thin hair. It doesn't lather in your hands very well at all, so the method you use with the shampoo bar won't work here. I recommend the "praying hands" method of applying the conditioner to your hair. Flip your head upside-down (or lean over), make sure your hair is, again, VERY wet, and then hold the conditioner bar and your hair between your hands, slowly sliding down from root (or wherever you start) to tip. Do this all over your head, and then just rinse as usual.Side Note - I will tell you, when I've tried to co-wash with this conditioner, it takes FOREVER, because the conditioner does not "travel" from one part of the hair to the other very well, probably because there's no liquid already in the conditioner bar. It does leave me with a lovely texture, but it takes way too long for it to be reasonable.Over all, I really like this shampoo. I like that it's a greener alternative. It smells nice, and I feel good about the environment. It also treats my hair pretty well and hydrates it without making it greasy or heavy. When I started using this shampoo, my hair was a few feet long. Now I have a long bob, my hair has turned out to be curly at the shorter length, and I might eventually have to move on to another shampoo to keep the curls happy (they don't love sulfates, for one thing). I hope I can find another bar that will work for me, or one even from this company. I've loved using a shampoo bar, and I recommend it for you, too! Seriously, there's no reason not to try it!

Yes and no.
Okay, so I'll start with the negatives and end with the positives. First, The conditioner bar was hard and difficult to use. I have long, naturally curly hair and it was just too much work trying to get even the slightest amount of conditioner distributed through the length. Second, where I the blue dye coming from? The shampoo bar left blue streaks in my shower. They rinsed easily, but the fact that it's going in my hair ...no. maybe there's a purpose for it that I know nothing about, but blue dye in my shampoo isn't something I need or want. Those were the biggest negative points. Now to a couple of good notes. The shampoo bar smells amazing! I absolutely loved the scent. And it works so well! It lathered easily and I had no problems working it through my hair. It cleans well. I think it would be a good clarifying shampoo because it definitely strips away everything ...so, curly girls(and guys) you'll definitely need a good conditioner with this shampoo bar. As for results, I can't give an accurate answer because a)I couldn't get enough conditioner through my hair and had to use a different one. B)using a different conditioner likely altered the results on the shampoo as well. I think it was a little drying, to be honest. But I have porous, frizz-prone hair so it makes a difference.Overall, I loved the shampoo. I will most likely repurpose it as a hand soap rather than shampoo ...only because of the dye. Otherwise, it's a good one for once a week use. And I'll try to give away the conditioner bar and maybe someone else will like it. Not sure.
