I am a fit, slim female in my 20s, so this tool is not just for those with age-related pains or gym-related pains! I have suffered from muscle knots in my neck and shoulders since high school, and the problem has worsened over time. Stress and prolonged periods in front of the computer make the problem infinitely worse. While massages and heat do help, it's difficult to reach the trigger points that give me the most grief without straining my arms and even being able to apply as much pressure as I'd like. A while back I got frustrated about not being able to apply the depth of pressure required to release the knots, and started using the "other" side of a hammer (i.e. the claw tool) to hook round my shoulder and dig into my levator scapulae. This way I could use traction from the front to put pressure on the muscle knot. While this unconventional method helped a lot, it was impractical as hammers are heavy and not designed for this purpose! Enter the body back buddy, which has been the best tool I've ever used for muscle knots. I use it in exactly the same way as I did the hammer, only this time it can reach further into the muscles and can get to literally any position on my whole back. The amount of pressure you can apply is amazing compared to the weak efforts using your hands alone. I typically use the pointed nodules rather than the round ones, as they get deeper into the knot (I can stand a lot of pressure and find this relieves the pain the best). I mainly use the very end nodule but do like the two close together in the curve of one of the ends, for applying pressure to the back of the base of the skull/neck too. A few people have mentioned its weight. It is heavier than I expected, but actually this was a pleasant surprise. It's purely because it's made of very high quality, strong plastic. I expected it to have a little flex to it, but no, it's very strong and can withstand any amount of pressure without budging. Obviously this is the kind of build quality you want in a tool specifically designed to apply pressure. I should state that I'm a very petite and thin 20-something, I am by no means a strong person and have absolutely no difficulty holding the item. I can't imagine the weight being an issue for anyone. I deliberated between the BBB, theracane and backnobber. I'm really pleased to have chosen this one for three reasons: 1) the two 'handles' are really, really useful for applying pressure. 2) I'm using the other various nodules more than I expected. 3) The pointed nodules work far better in my muscle knots than the round ones. For those reasons, I'd recommend this tool over the others. Although I've only been using the tool a brief time, it's loosened up my muscles and relieved pain immeasurably. It may seem pricey for what is essentially a piece of blue plastic, but I do not begrudge a single penny. For anyone who experiences chronic muscle knots, I can't recommend this highly enough.

何の気なしに「タイムセール」を見てましたら、興味を引いたのがこの商品。 類似品は持っていて、その商品は肩と背中上部しか使用できないのですが これ、すごいですね。 頭のてっぺんから足の先まであらゆる部分に圧を加えることができます。 しかも、長めのバーが２箇所についていて、そこを左右の手でそれぞれしっかり握ってクイッとすると 少しのチカラで効果が得られました。 足の裏のいわゆる「湧泉」のツボも、座って足を伸ばして引っ掛けた後両手で引っ張ると 思わず悲鳴を上げてしまうほど効きます。 毎日朝昼晩といろんな部分のコリをほぐしてます。 注意点はというと、着衣の上から使うとボール部分が滑って思わぬところにずれて痛かったので パンフレットの女性のようにできるだけ露出部分の多いウエアに着替えてから使用するとよろしいかと思いました。 我が家を訪れる客人にも大人気です。

Massagegeräte - was hat man nicht schon alles versprochen bekommen... Vor allem von elektrischen Massagegeräten - bis hin zu Massagesesseln - nichts fand ich funktioniert wirklich, übt wirklich Druck aus auf die schmerzenden Muskeln, die man gerne massiert haben möchte. Bis jetzt habe ich viel mit hölzernen Massagestäbchen gearbeitet, die auch wirklich gut einzusetzen sind, - aber eben nur an den Punkten, die für einen selber gut zu erreichen sind. Für Schultergürtel oder Lendenwirbelsäule musste ich mich immer fürchterlich verrenken um auch nur ansatzweise an die schmerzenden, verhärteten Stellen hinzukommen, - nichtsdestotrotz ist der Winkel einfach ungünstig, und ich habe dann auch oft die Haut verletzt. Mit diesem bodybackbuddy ist es mir erstmals möglich mit Leichtigkeit an die - bei mir als Berufsmusikerin - Geigerin - sehr schnell schmerzenden Punkte zwischen den Schulterblättern hinzukommen, und nicht nur das, durch die so geschickte S-Form des Massagegerätes und zweier Haltegriffe kann man den Druck optimal dosieren. Es liegt ganz in der eigenen Hand, wieviel Druck man ausüben möchte, und das Tolle ist - man kann auch sehr viel Druck ausüben, ohne dabei Kraft aufwenden zu müssen. Erst wollte ich einen Punkt dafür abziehen, dass die Gebrauchsanweisung ausschließlich auf englisch ist, aber nach mühsamem Durchlesen musste ich feststellen, dass man das nicht unbedingt lesen muss, - die Bilder geben Ideen und Anhaltspunkte, wie man das Gerät halten und einsetzen kann. Das "Drauflegen" wollte bei mir erst nicht klappen, kam ich dabei doch gar nicht mit der S-Form zurecht, aber wenn man sich das Bild noch einmal genau ansieht, sieht man, dass dabei das lange S nach oben ragt, und man nur auf dem unteren Haken liegt. Mit ein bisschen Herumprobieren findet man ohne weiteres heraus, wie man die einzelnen "Nupsis" - um mit Bastian Pastevka zu sprechen - einsetzen kann. Was man auf der Produktabbildung nicht erkennen kann - es handelt sich um ein ganz dickes, angenehm anzufassendes Plastik, da kann nichts brechen, es wirkt auch nicht so splirrig wie auf der Abbildung oben, die mich dahingehend irritiert hatte, dass ich dachte - viel hält das Teil aber nicht aus. Weit gefehlt. Es ist massiv und stabil und macht wirklich einen wertigen Eindruck. Was mich am meisten überzeugt ist die Tatsache, dass man ohne Kraftaufwand viel Druck ausüben kann. Hängt man das S z.B. über die Schulter, braucht man das Teil bloß mit den Händen herunterzudrücken, das geht völlig einfach und folgt der natürlichen Schwerkraft. Wenn ich so begeistert klinge, dann nicht, weil ich zur Firma gehöre...sondern weil ich schon sooo lange nach so etwas gesucht habe, und auch viel ausprobiert habe. Aber entweder es waren die Nupsis zu klein, oder das Teil war so klein, dass man doch wieder sehr viel Kraft aufwenden musste und aus einem ungünstigen Winkel heraus arbeiten musste. Dass ich hier das Ideale für mich gefunden habe, hätte ich bei der Bestellung noch nicht gedacht. Ich kann es jedem Schmerzgeplagten der nicht ständig einen Masseur um sich herum hat nur empfehlen. Es lohnt sich auf jeden Fall es auszuprobieren, wenn man nicht damit zurecht kommt, kann man es ja zurücksenden - ich kann mir aber kaum vorstellen, dass man Schwierigkeiten damit hat. Von mir 5 Sterne und eine klare Kaufempfehlung!
