Cut Resistant Gloves for Kitchen – Level 5 Protection for Ultimate Durability – Thin & Breathable

Definitly will prevent cuts but not point stabs. I use really sharp knives in the kitchen and while cautious accidents happen. Only issue so far is the finger tips wear out like a work glove. Not using that much of that heavy to cause a wear issue.

I got these gloves at a discount for an honest review but this is the 2nd pair of gloves I have tried so this review is a pro/con between the two. The other pair was the slightly more expensive Stark Safe. Both are very reasonable pricing given the cost of leather gloves.Both pairs are high quality, with same cut safe ratings.Pros:This pair actually fit my hands but had I gotten a large in the Stark Safe no doubt they would be about the same unstretched size. This pair is however also very stretchy and if you are a borderline Large/Xl just try these and I think it would be a good fit. These gloves are very comfortable and comfortably grip things. I could wear these all day if I needed to.Cons:The knit on these is like Jersey cloth and it is not as tight a knit as the Stark Safe gloves. I can tell that the material is about the same thickness but I prefered the tighter knit feel. This is the only reason for a knocked off star.The stitching is top grade the way it is woven and Im probably the only one who notices this level of detail to a glove but again I liked the more precise cut of the Stark Safe ones which also has a stronger reinforced joint stitching. That same con though probably gives "these" gloves more comfort.You decideIf you have problems sizing gloves but are probably a Large I definitely say get these as I do like them. If you know you are a large, prefer a tight knit, and less stretch, dont care if you spend a little more, get the Stark Safe.I didnt try to slice through either pairs but slicing is the only protection yourd get from these especially with the stretchy knit.After using the gloves again I really cant flaw this pair. I restored it to full marks.

I bought these so that my birds would not break the skin when they bit me, however, the sharp point of their beak does go through the weave of the cloth. The slicing nature of cutting does not penetrate the weave of the glove. I do recommend them for cutting goods as they are marketed to do.

Bought these gloves for my hubby. I was watching him use his box cutter for something and it got away from him. It of course managed to cut the finger on his other hand pretty good. Not being the kind of wife who really bothers him when he is doing his shop stuff, I asked him if he had some gloves or something he could wear to protect his hands. I got the standard husband response of "No, I don't need it". There may have been some chest pounding after I walked away. So looked on amazon for gloves to protect him. Someone has to! These arrived and looked like they would protect much but...WRONG. They are pretty amazing. They really do work. I can't tell you that the hubs tried them but, I can tell you that I gave them a whirl while using my mandolin and didn't use the guide. I'm a brave tester!! Anyway, when I should have had a small crime scene on my counter, I didn't! No cut. Not only that...Not any damage to the glove. Great product. Highly recommend! Great for many tasks!

Bought these for my daughter, who is always cutting her fingers when she cooks. I had heard there were gives out there and so I went in search of them. I found these and bought them. Frankly the price was right. I bought. Six medium not sure which of go with. Turns out the size was perfect. My daughter got one of her new and very sharp knives out and tried to cu these gloves. They are very light weight, so we were hesitant.However the test was a great success and the government was not effects by this scalpel of a knife. STRONG RECOMEND to anyone needing some of these awesome gloves.

Yayyyyyy....no more stitches for me! I wish I knew about these years ago! I don't wear the glove on the hand I hold the knife with because the type of knives I have are slippery with it on. You can wear the glove on either hand so it's like getting 2 gloves for 1 price if you only use one at a time. Also, they are very thin so you can feel through them. Love them! I got a set for my daughter also.

I have issues with my hand and even a little cut can take more then a month to heal. So I purchased these glove to help cut down on my pain and constant cuts on my fingers. The glove are very light and I feel I still have good control of the food I am cutting. Wished I had thought of this a year ago. Looking forward to having cut free hands. Thank you
