These empty cans were exactly what we needed, and fairly priced. I was looking for something with no sharp edges, as I didn't want any little hands getting cut when reaching inside or when decorating. The lids also fit snug, but not too snug, which was another concern for the project we were using them for. They are also the perfect size, about the size of the old coffee cans from when I was younger. All in all I'm very happy with my purchase. The only reason I didn't give them a 5 star rating is because the metal can is a little thinner than I expected, I'm not sure if they would last long if you put anything with moisture in it or anything too heavy. One of the kids dropped one and dented it right away, however it could have been because of the way it was dropped. I guess we'll have to wait and see if they last.

Nice size cans for this and that type stuff in the garage. Not as big as a regular size one lb coffee can but they are ok.

I don't know why I thought this would be bigger (lol), they are after all the same volume as my large yogurt containers which they were replacing. My landlord's dog would steal and shoe up the yogurt containers, leave the metal cans alone.Either way, I plan to create little Lacey edging via crocheting someday to make it a bit more decorative.

It's clearly my fault for not digging DEEP into the description and identifying on a ruler what size these were going to be but my expectation of a "coffee can" was much wider than these are.I purchased these to be part of a winter emergency car kit and was hugely disappointed at how small they were. They don't really work for my purposes because I can't fit what I need to in them (barely fits anything at all really) but I'd already opened the wrapping when I realized how small they were. It's disappointing. Another example of shrink-elation I guess.

These cans are quality. Tight sealed lids. Sturdy.I bought these to bury in the ground around my property line stakes. Took the lid off, dug hole, placeld these in, little tap of a mini sledge into firm place leveling with the ground, backfilled in and around the tin cans with cement. Golden!
