Figures in the book are of a very low quality. Material is highly derivative and merely revised (looks like it was copy-pasted by a lazy bachelor student. Mistakes in English are obvious as well as a lack of logic in material representation. Matlab codes are not something original, you can find the same ones and much better on MathWorks. Do not buy this book.

Its realy helpful to study optical systems using MATLAB and Simulink.You'll be interested in knowing that there are a planty of scripts for MATLAB that helps who want to make some researchs about optical systems.

I was expecting some MATLAB and Simulink models either on CD or a link for downloading the files.Instead, all I got were poorly printed simulink models.My suggestion is to include all models as a download and add demos/example usage.
