Works well to hold my cell phone or GPS on my BMW R1150RT. Another review stated it does block viewing of side mirror, so use with caution.Should always be checking over your shoulder regardless. Be safe.

My only issue with this is that when I mount something on it, it blocks my side mirror.. Not an issue with the product, merely the bike it's attached to. The product is decent quality and locks down tight.

NOT RAM 1" ball size
Good product BUT not a 1" RAM compactable ball. Know before buying what you are mounting. This works with Garmin Nuvi and similar balls.

Great BWM mount
I took a chance when I ordered this as my 2008 BMW K1200GT wasn't listed as being compatible, but the LT and RT were. Well, it fits just fine and is part of a very secure mounting system for my Icom F4031 UHF radio.
