Not for amazingly high quality meetings but if your a sound engineer and want to be able to be a hero by pulling a pretend getner out of your bag of tricks. This will make your cell phone (and I have an Android) transmit from a mic level out and pull in a line level. The review on the other side was that it was kinda thin sounding but when your just sending a board feed from a room to some people listening around a cell phone on speaker that's about all you can expect. Be a little careful with the wires. I have not had a problem but I'm pretty delicate with this set up.

This is a really good product. I have used other products that failed in interviews. This is well built (quality) and works with basic professional mics like Shure 57... I am using it with a SHURE Drum Mic...and it works. I send the Headphone out to a Mixer and record Interviews. But it works GREAT w just a Mic and headphones. I run the headphone out to my mixer... I ordered a second unit as I do a lot of interviews and like quality products that work.

We stream our church services over the internet and were getting reports of an annoying squeal that was causing younger people to stop listening. I'm a little older and did not notice any squeal. This device allowed me to attached my iPhone directly to the output circuitry and find the source of a 10K Hz squeal that I could not hear, but younger ears could. A free sound analysis app and this device saved us big bucks on what would have been an expensive service call by a professional.

This adapter records great audio on iPhone 6+. However, I was not able to hear audio while I was recording. I contacted the company, but they have not responded. This may be a glitch with this particular adapter that I received. However, I am sharing my personal experience.

I bought this to plug either an XLR microphone or with another adapter that goes from XLR to 3.5mm for another microphone I own. It works for both and is never left at home when I go out on photo/video shoots. The plug going into the ipad2 is long enough to fit even when I have my Ballistic case on it. Best $30 you'll spend if you need microphones going into your apple products.

These work OK but are not suitable for monitoring external sound with headphones when used with iPhone 6 unfortunately.

This review might be unfair because I returned it do to the angled plug design would not allow the input jack to fully connect without taking my ipad out of the protective case....Product seemed well made and worked fine...I guess just not for me

Does what it says, but not very handy for my purpose
