In a tiz because you've misplaced the original windscreen mount for your TomTom XL SatNav ? Then fret no more, this is product is every bit as good as the original in quality and functionality, and an acceptable price. I've bought 2, 1 for myself as a 'spare', and the other to replace the one my daughter misplaced for her SatNav.

I have used one of these for about eight years with my TomTom. Finally the suction element gave up. Reasonable I thought as I was frequently moving the item between cars. So I decided to order first one, then a couple of days later a second so that I would not be moving the holder between cars.In both cases the winder to set up suction was very stiff. Again in both cases after a couple of days the item had fallen off the window screen. Yes I had wet the suction disc and in each case the TomTom was not attached. Twice now the device, complete with TomTom has fallen off the screen while driving. Luckily both my VW T4 camper and Passat dashboard have caught the pair so no damage. Each item has dropped the TomTom while remaining attached to the screen. I no longer trust them.

My husband needed this as a replacement to secure his Tomtom.The ball joint isn’t the correct fit so it doesn’t hold it firmly.The plastic suction is too flimsy and it doesn’t stick.He has had to tape it to the window as he threw his old one away.Absolute waste of money.
