I nearly returned these because the stick is shorter than I realized. But it actually works well for our needs and will store out of the way better too.

Bought these to use with 3-5 year olds. They are sturdy and the magnet is strong enough to easily “fish” for magnet letters and household items that they might want to explore with.

I bought these as replacements for a fishing toy that my grandchildren love. I thought the simple design would be less apt to break or tangle. They are simple and unlikely to tangle but they are very small. I will make an indoor game to use these with, but they are not suitable replacements for the fishing rods that came with the original sets. For classroom use they would be ideal in a learning game.

Got these for grand-kids, they have enjoyed fishing for little fish we made and treasure in the bath tub, in little plastic bins ( they call their ponds) and also use them to pull little metal cars and boats around (we put metal clips on the plastic ones). Another thing they enjoy is to catch and drag/dangle the snakes and worms we made out of rope and braided ribbons. They put them in tall sacks/ glasses/ boxes and see how many they can pull out and drag to a little pen. They are just the right size for them to manage.

The fishing rods are very small. Not all magnets stick to it. I put them in a sensory bin and they can pick up small jingle bells and magnet letters. Can’t use them to pick up my magnet fish that I wanted to use them for.

Really tiny!

Like most I did not realize the size. I was hoping to use these in my preschool class, but it would have been better if I just made them. These are too tiny to use in the center as I planned.

These are great for fishing or for A magnetic science bin. Well made
