If you are even considering buying this lens what are you waiting for? Its AMAZING! Yes it's a manual focus lens but a complete idiot could easily figure it out . Tack sharp images and it has a nice weight to it. You cannot beat the price or the quality of this lens.

I have a Canon EOS Rebel t5, which I did research on prior to purchasing this MANUAL 85mm lens. I already own a 75-300mm lens which is set to manual and a setting I prefer. Anyways, if you're looking for a portrait lens that has pristine precision, accuracy, and clarity, this is the lens I recommend starting with. You won't be disappointed! However if you have not done your research on manual focus lenses, I recommend doing so or purchasing a lens in which gives you the options of AF & MF. But this lens thus far I can say has not done me wrong regardless of time of day lighting.

This lens came packaged well, fit my canon T6 perfectly. So far it works great and it is a wonderful buy for a wonderful price. When I get some more pics I will add them if this lets me.

Yes, this is a value lens. You know that right from the jump. However when you look at something like a Yongnuo lens, which is cheaper than the Nikon or Canon alternatives...you definitely realize that you'll be cutting some corners.This though...was a rough version of what I had hoped it would be.For starters, the finish on the lens was terrible.Mine was scratched right out the box. Not just a little ding either. A very deep gouge.The lens hood...which is effectively built into the lens was painted incredibly bad. There were globs of dripping paint all over the outside and inside of the lens hood which were visible up close and far away.Ok, It looks rough, how does it perform?It doesn't.With a manual lens you obviously have total control as to what's in focus and what isn't.The focusing ring was super stiff. Like it took considerable effort to move it. And even when you did manage to get it close....it wasn't close at all. The optics may have been damaged or needed adjustments done. But I took 300 shots with three cameras and maybe 2 photos were sharp.Pass on this.The manufacturing isn't consistent and they're not concerned about quality, just giving you a value.Your money is better off in your pocket.

Trying to return this item, but refund shows $40 LESS than what I paid for, even though the item is defective and doesn't work properly.Besides manual focus, also the aperture is manual, which already makes it difficult to work with the lens, but even if you're ok with it, the camera just doesn't recognize the lens.Awful piece of expensive plastic.

Great value on lens for price that you pay. Takes great crips shots great for portrait photography

This camera doesn't recognize the lens in spite of what is advertise. It fits loosely, it is cheap and the rings are hard to maneuver. Got it today, return it right away.

Overall it's a good lens I would rate it a 9 out of 10. The downfall is that it occassionally leaks light in very bright situations . No mounting issues on my Sony A7ii like others have stated, but $80 I say buy the lens enjoy it's bokeh and overall quality for a cheap price.

El lente está bien para el precio; yo lo uso en mi Sony a7iii y el único detalle es que me dice que el lente no está bien ajustado o no es compatible, pero el lente es manual entonces todos los aspectos se modifican directamente ahí.

Lo único mal que le encuentro es la aparición de halos de color, nada que no se pueda solucionar con la edición en photoshop
