Gets Salt and Dirt Out Without Damaging Leather I used this cleaner on a pair of suede boots that had picked up salt stains from winter walking, and it did a great job of lifting the marks without leaving behind water rings or fading the color. The spray comes out evenly, and you don’t need to use a lot—just a light mist, a soft brush, and then letting the boots dry. It worked equally well on a leather belt that had gotten scuffed, taking off dirt and giving it a refreshed look without making it feel sticky or greasy afterward. One thing to keep in mind is that it doesn’t replace conditioning. After cleaning, especially with leather, you’ll still want to use a conditioner to keep it soft and prevent drying or cracking. The bottle is 8 oz, which is enough for several uses, but if you plan to treat lots of items regularly (shoes, jackets, bags), you may go through it quicker than expected. Bottom line: A reliable and effective cleaner that’s gentle on suede, leather, and fabric, making it a good staple for keeping shoes and accessories looking presentable.

I have a pair of suede shoes that got really dirty at a bar (bad planning on my part). These were my first pair of suede shoes so I knew cleaning them would require special attention. I looked on Amazon for suede cleaner and after reading some reviews on here I decided to purchase this product and a brush (Shacke Suede & Nubuck 4-Way Leather Brush Cleaner). The bottle says to shake thoroughly, but unless you dump some out, the bottle won't shake and bubble the way that's recommended for use. I shook what I could and applied it to the brush I was using and started scrubbing gently. The bottle instructed to not saturate suede, but that's kind of impossible if you have a large area to clean. The problem with suede on a light surface (my shoes are a lighter brown) is when it gets wet it's almost impossible to see if the stains/dirt are being removed with the cleaning. I was worried that with how wet the shoe was getting from the cleaner that the shoe would get damaged. But I just went along with it because the shoes were only $30, so not the end of the world if they were permanently damaged. I cleaned both shoes and pat dried them with a towel. I set them aside and let them dry overnight. To my surprise, the next day after I came home from work they looked spotless. From a distance, my shoes look brand new, and that's in large part thanks to this cleaner. There is one small black imperfection on the outside of my shoe that I don't think will come out, but I think that was from the bar or me scrubbing too roughly initially when I was cleaning. All in all, I would highly recommend this cleaner and a good, soft brush, but make sure if you do get a brush you don't scrub too hard. Also make sure you pat dry after you're finished cleaning. Note that the shoes won't dry all the way, but pat dry anyway just to help speed up the process.

Used this cleaner to clean up my 20+ year old Birkenstocks that had never been cleaned before. While I was at it, I used it to clean a couple of pairs of suede Toms also, plus some other leather and fabric shoes not pictured. This cleaned gently and effectively, removing dirt that I had not yet been able to get out using a wire suede brush and sandpaper from the suede. I followed the instructions to use only the foam and to apply it with a sponge. Then I followed that with a final fluffing with 80-grit sandpaper. My shoes look brand new! My only complaint is that it is hard to get the foam out of the bottle. When the bottle is full, there’s not enough air to get much foam. When the bottle is about half empty, it’s hard to squeeze the foam out. I wish it came in a more flexible bottle or that it had a pump-type dispenser.

Why did you pick this product vs others?: I've used this forever on Suede. This is absolutely the best! I put it in a spray bottle & dilute it with a little water. Spray it in, use a very soft toothbrush and then wipe off with a wet cloth. It had restored so many vintage suede items.

It didn't help me

A samosa chutney on my green timberlands and I couldn’t wear it for almost a year because I didn’t want to use anything rough on my boots. They’re as good as new after cleaning it with Lincoln. Though you’d have to brush them after they dry and apply a protection coat available with many brands. This was worth every penny

I got rid of all stains on my nubuck sofa! I tried other products, various recipes and various brushes, including cleaning by professional..... But this is the only product that really worked !

I washed my uggs with this product and it was amazing didn’t ruin them
