Very nice chains for the money
These are great chains. I put them on 25x10x12 atv tires.. I had to cut 1 entire cross bar out leaving 2 links in front of the next crossbar for a perfect fit. just air the tire down fit them on and fill the tire back up with about 10 psi of air. these fit very tight if you do that you won't even need chain tensioners.

PAIR of chains
I just received these. There were two sets of chains in the box. Because others said that only one came, I ordered two so actually 4 sets were delivered. I expect Amazon will take one back. The manufacturer and Amazon should make it clear that this is for a pair of chains like may other chain suppliers do.I found a way to put the chains on without jacking up the tractor (as the instructions imply). I tie the end of the chains to the back of the tire the very slowly go forward constantly feeding the chain so it sits evenly on the tire. The snow and ice season is mostly over so I probably will not test them until next year but they appear to be very effective but clearly not to be used on pavement.

Good chains, misleading pictures
I got these chains, as well as a set for for the other two tires (different size) for my 2002 Polaris 700. They definitely do the job, as plowing my nasty, switchback style driveway was dangerous at best prior to getting them. They appear yo be well-made and my prediction is that they should stand the test of time. The reason I'm taking away two stars is that, 1) Despite the negative reviews, this item still shows the picture for the 2-link spacing. They have at least updated the description, but when I bought the chains, it was not obvious. I was really disappointed when I opened the package... doubly so when I realized they did not come with the rubber tensioners that every other set of chains I've purchased have come with. Ir should be no issue for the company to have two separate listings instead of being lazy and using one set of pics for both. It makes me wonder if it is not intentional... 2) They are pretty difficult to install tightly. They do kink up quite a bit, and even after installing (using a pair of pliers to make the latch as tight as possible), they still required multiple adjustments to make tight enough to not rattle/shift while in use. This difficult installation completely eliminates the possibility of removing them when not needed. I will not be removing these until winter is over, effectively limiting the use of my ATV in good weather, or going over 25-30mph.Overall, they are good chains for the price, but the seller needs to revise their product page and throw in a set of $5 tensioners, at the bare minimum.

Decent tire chains
Background- I have used and installed tire chains since the 1980's. I have owned many sets of chains from the useless cable chains to the standard linked heavy duty chains.Initial review: These chains were purchased for the front tires on my Kubota RTV 500. The tire size is 24x9.00-12. My concern about buying any chain besides fitment, is clearance. I was pleased to see that the gauge on these chains is not too thick, unlike my truck chains. Therefore they only stick out the side of the tire by about 1" or less. This helped clear my suspension and front brake components. I would assume that even they the chains are lighter gauge, the machine is also much much lighter than a road vehicle. The "V bars" seem really aggressive. The true test will be how they work in snow and mud when they are really needed. I also just ordered a set for the rear tires. I will update this review after I have more data.

tips...
Desole mais si vous parlez francais allez sur ma page FB pour la version francaise car les accents ne s'affichent pas bien ici...Photo is misleading because there are only half the crosslinks in the picture. None the less the chains are ok and give much needed traction. Item delivery was on time. Some people complain about fit but it may be due to installation techniques. I had to remove one crosslink that was on upside down and reinstall. Another crosslink was just twisted on the end and when un-twisted was fine. When installing on FRONT WHEELS try to use largest diameter possible on inside of wheel to get clearance. You may have to remove links on inside of wheel to ensure clearance between wheel and suspension when steering is turned to maximum.Next year I will remove a few links on the outside diameter to get a tighter fit and put less strain on tensionners. I found that installing the chains with the wheel resting on a pail made things easier. I also used a bungee to keep chain in place while fitting and that made it easier to flip the wheel over while keepng chains in place. Large tie-wraps were added to help with tension. If tensionner breaks I will probably replace it with a rubber bungee... I'll be doing a video on this when I get a chance...
