A Fantastic Sleeping Solution: KingCamp Extra 5.9 inch mattress
Introduction:Finding a comfortable and reliable mattress for outdoor adventures can be daunting. However, the KingCamp Extra 5.9 INCH mattress proves to be an exceptional choice that offers both ease of use and supreme comfort. After testing it with my family during a camping trip, this mattress has exceeded my expectations. While there are a couple of minor drawbacks, it's remarkable performance and thermal control make it a worthy investment.Ease of Use and Comfort:One of the standout features of the KingCamp Extra 5.9 INCH mattress is its effortless inflation process. It inflates quickly, making setup a breeze, especially after its initial use. Once extended, it provides a sleeping experience akin to a home bed, as my two kids and wife can attest. The three slept soundly throughout the night, thanks to the mattress's outstanding comfort and support. It truly transformed our camping experience into a home away from home.Minor Drawbacks:While the KingCamp mattress excels in various aspects, there are a couple of minor concerns worth mentioning. The two accompanying bands, although serving their purpose, can be easily misplaced and prove challenging to reattach. However, this minor inconvenience only significantly impacts the overall performance of the mattress. Additionally, it's worth noting that the KingCamp Extra 5.9 INCH mattress falls on the pricier side. Nevertheless, considering its remarkable features and the quality of sleep it provides, it's a worthwhile investment for those who prioritize comfort during outdoor adventures.Durability and Thermal Control:As for the mattress's durability, I need more time to offer a comprehensive assessment. However, based on its initial performance and construction, it is built to withstand rugged outdoor conditions. The materials used seem sturdy and reliable, promising longevity and durability. Moreover, the KingCamp mattress demonstrates excellent thermal control. Even on chilly nights, it regulates temperature and ensures a comfortable sleep. No more worrying about feeling cold and uncomfortable while camping. Conclusion:In conclusion, the KingCamp Extra 5.9 INCH mattress is an outstanding choice for anyone seeking a comfortable and reliable sleeping solution during camping or outdoor adventures. Its easy inflation process and exceptional comfort make it a top-notch option for adults and children. While there are minor inconveniences like the easily misplaced bands and the relatively higher price point, these drawbacks are overshadowed by its overall performance and outstanding thermal control. Suppose you want to enhance your outdoor sleeping experience. In that case, consider the KingCamp Extra 5.9-inch mattress a valuable investment to ensure a restful night's sleep away from home.

Best night of sleep i have ever had outside
Let me start off by saying that I take a lot of friends out camping to introduce them to the outdoors. Car camping is a great ease into experiencing the wilderness as a newbie and comfort is key. I have had 4 different sets of friends buy this sleeping pad after letting them borrow my " extra set up". It is top of the line spec-wise ( R-value, Cost, Weight, Durability, selection of color) and a great break on the wallet when the outdoor industry's gear is so expensive and gatekept these days. This mattress is a dream cloud! Not only does it have an amazing R- value that keeps me so very warm, it is water resistant and very comfortable. I was debating if i should buy an air mattress for car camping, but decided it would ultimately pop over time ( like they all do) and I would like something that will serve me better. KingCamp is a new brand that I have been trying out and the gear is quite reputable and thus far (2 seasons) is holding up well. To set up, I open both valves and turn the inner valves halfway so that it is fully open, and let it self inflate for 10-15mins. Then I turn the inner valves back to position, close one valve and breathe in about ten breaths of air to loft it up. It is a perfect mix between an air mattress and a memory foam bed. I am a larger adult and me and my partner fit just fine with no leaks or air getting out. I have to be comfortable in the back woods, going as far as buying a 200$ backpacking air mat, so for me to finally write a review on something for amazon means it is really amazing! My little dog has slept and walked all over it and no scratches or punctures, the smooth finish on it makes it so you don't need a sheet or anything honestly RUN don't walk to buy this. Maybe suggest buying the black as the teal shows dog hair, etc?

Almost got me in trouble
I ordered this for my roof top tent. My wife and I have been out in it many times and had ended up defaulting to using our backpacking pads in addition to the mattress it came with (which sucked). A few youtube videos later one evening and I'm buying this. Now I'd been told not to, that using our backpacking pads was fine, even though we would both comment on being sore when we slept on our sides. The package arrives, and I start hearing about it. But I went ahead and took it out of the box, let it self inflate, gave it one or two stiffening puffs and then laid down on it. VERY NICE. So I ask her to come in and try it, I get a little more lip then she lays down one it. "Oh. Oh this is nice. This is very nice." So I'm given a reprieve from the dog house and our RTT camping is much better thereby.Pros. Very thick and comfortable. The dual valves make putting it away much easier than a single would have.Cons. The screw on end caps often feel like they are cross threaded even if they aren't. It's the softer plastic used, which presumably holds air is better.Comment: I read a lot of negative review about the self inflation and storage, so here's some tips: 1) make sure you understand the one way valves and how to use them properly, 2) don't store any self inflating mat compressed in heat (like the garage) they will learn a new memory and it won't be to expand, 3) any inflatable mat should also have a repair kit (cause it's gonna get a pinhole) this didn't come with one so buy one. There are several aftermarket variations.Overall: It's good, the price isn't a deal breaker, its' comfortable. I'm still getting used to glamping after a lifetime backpacking but I could get used to this.

Die Matte ist Top - lesen!
The media could not be loaded.

So, so good!
As with most people, I've spent a fortune over the years on cheap, plastic inflatable camping mattresses. They're always rubbish. I originally saw this matress on a camping youtube channel so decided I'd buy it. And, although more expensive than those plastic ones, it's most certainly worth it. It was the best nights sleep I've ever had! I'm 6foot2 and weigh 14stone, it was literally like being at home on my memory foam mattress, I thoroughly recommend this mattress.

Gut verpackt.

comfortable
after self inflation, I needed to blow in extra air to make it more firm. It's comfortable and carrying bag feels durable compared with the other brand. But it's a little pricey
