Great Ramp.
This ramp feels sturdy. We've used it for an electric wheelchair into a stretch van. The ramp is not extremely heavy, but it is not light. It can take a little getting use to in terms of unfolding it. The ramp feels very solid. The only real weakness is the at the base, where the gritty textured surface wears where the wheel chair enters the ramp.UPDATE:After over a year of use, these are excellent ramps. The only problem we've had is wearing off the grit, but that is mainly because we need to use a sharp incline. The ramps aren't lightweight (as mentioned in the initial review), but once you get accustom to the folding they are pretty easy to use. You can also re apply the grit tape. We used a razor blade, and cut a strip across the bottom where it was rubbing smooth. Then, using a heat gun (to get it started), we then slowly pulled the tape off. Then, cleaned the surface with acetone (fingernail polish remover) - or goo gone. Let it dry, then reapplied new tape. We called the manufacturer and they sold us 2 strips long enough to cover both ramps (we only used a foot or two) - the grit tape they sell is vastly superior to the stuff you can buy at amazon or home depot. We tried a roll of some stuff from home depot and it didn't last a day.All-in-all, great product and you can resurface them if you need to.

Not sure
Assembly was fairly easy. Finding a way to secure the pins provided to anchor the ramps requires a3/8” hole to be filled where you are going to place the top of the ramps.Says will hold 800 lbs. I weigh 350 and it feels a little shaky and wants to bow with me on it. Will add support bracing in the middle to support ramps.

Prairie View UTW830 Ramps
I got these Ramps to move my Mother who is in a Wheelchair in and out of a Ford Transit Connect Van. The Manufacturer does not recommend these Ramps for moving a Wheelchair with a person in it but if you don't have $5,000.00 for a lift you have to make due with what you can Afford. If you get these Ramps in the right length I feel they are plenty safe to move a person in a wheelchair. The only thing I would recommend is that you do not try to push the person up the Ramp backwards as they show in their DVD Instructions. I made the Mistake of trying this even though I have always pushed the person up the Ramp facing forward and never had a problem. When I tried to push her up the Ramp backward as the DVD stated the Wheelchair immediately flipped over backwards. I never tried that again and have not had one problem pushing her in facing forward so I will stick with what works. These Ramps are fairly heavy and take a few minutes to set up and take down but your only other choice is a $5,000 Lift !

Sturdy and worth the price
When purchasing this ramp, I noticed this ramp was a little more money than the competition. I chose this ramp because the weight tolerance was higher. I felt that I would rather pay a little more money for something more sturdy and reliable. When I received the ramp, I was not disappointed. The additional cost was more than justified. This is heavy duty and very sturdy. It is also very easy to take down, when not using, but a little heavy. I would definitely recommend 2 people to set up and take away the ramp. I am happy I spent a little more to purchase this item. I would recommend this product.

Sturdy
Folding it up is a bit more cumbersome than setting it up.. my mom is 5ft tall so it’s hard to use in one piece as designed. Taller and stronger people will have no issues!! Definitely a sturdy ramp for getting my dads scooter into a mini van!

Do a little bit of trigonometry before purchasing to make sure the length is correct.
Overall really good construction and reassurance with the side rails for safety. For the 5th star textured aluminum would have been better than the grip tape on the ramp but works as expected. Recommend maximum rise would have been helpful.
