Great for clamping and holding together irregular shapes
This is a great tool to have in your toolbox. Actually, that should be “tools” since this came as a set of two which is very helpful, particularly if you’re bundling, for instance, long runs of lumber. If you’ve ever tried to clamp or hold irregular shapes together, you’d know that it’s not always easy. This tool lets you do just that, it will conform to just about any shape with some limitations. The only limitation is the size of the links, about 1” because the links are not flexible. This should not be an issue in 99% of the cases and you can move the link chain so that it will flex in the spot where it is needed. As per the attached pictures, you can see that it will clamp around an approximately 6” diameter circle or, as an example, a 6.5” x 3” rectangle (~20 sq inches). Of course, you can also clamp much smaller items. My only complaint is that the tooling on the thumbscrew is a bit rough but that might just take time to work itself smooth. Other than that, this is a great bargain.Recommended.

Good for odd job clamp needs
We got these for work with heavy duty odd sized things that need to be either held down or help screw things into place. We have used them a few times and so far they seem rugged and dependable for now. Time will tell.

Bit tricky to get adjusted, especially in tight spaces, but otherwise works fine
I've used rubber strap wrenches in the past, but they seldom hold well enough and eventually fail. This chain one is going to grab hard although at the cost of marring the surface. (One of the common problems I need one of these for is the lid on a chlorine feeder that is all plastic.) The jaw width is a bit narrow in the normal (screw in) position, making it a bit difficult to hook the chain at the desired position. Of course you can release the adjustment screw to get the jaws wider. Still, it is a bit tricky to get the chain hooked at a desired position, especially in tight spaces. I don't think that's necessary a fault of this design vs. just the way this type of tool is going to work.

🛠 Another Great Monster & Master Tool - 😊👍
I have used these in the past as a mechanic at work. We were always running into tight pulleys and bearings that would not budge. I haven't actually put these to the test, but these actually look better made than the ones I used at work. I didn't have anything at home like these so when I seen them, sure why not. I have a couple of cheap strap clamps that I have never had luck with, so I can see where these will come in handy. I remember more than once using a hammer and chisel (or screwdriver) to get an oil filter loose. These will work perfect for that. I have acquired several Monster & Master tools and have never been disappointed in any of them. These locking chain clamps are no exception either. Judging from the quality of the Monster & Master tools I have tried, I would place them a notch above Harbor Freight tools. Every one has been well made and finished to resist rusting. The grips fit my hand well and appear like they will last. The screws turn smoothly with no binding. I give these 10" locking chain clamps ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ and I'm sure they will come in handy whenever they are needed. I hope this proves helpful. Thanks for Reading - ✌😉

For turning or screwing big pipes, tubes, fittings, etc....
The media could not be loaded. Need to srew or unscrew something really big? Have a big pipe or other object you need to twist? This is the tool for you. It's a combination vise grip and chain wrench. You get the chain wrench as tight as you can on the object you need to torque with the vise grip open, then close the vise grip for that last little bit to make the chain fully taut and then you twist. This is for smooth surfaces. It works like a strap wrench, only with greater tightness and grip than normally possible with a strap wrench.See my video if you don't know how a chain wrench works. This is a fairly robust wrench that will fit a six-inch pipe.
