After 1 year my Android phone gave an error message saying Damaged SD card.
Reformatted the card and it started working again but I lost all my data. The same error message would come up again occasionally but would clear itself up by rebooting the phone. Another year has gone by and now rebooting no longer works. Currently using ZAR data recovery software to hopefully recover some data. It made it past the 2 year warranty mark so I guess I got what I paid for. Don't forget to back up your important data.UPDATE: It seems the problem was caused by corrupt files on the card. Before all this happened, I was uninstalling and installing apps from Google Play and I'm guessing that the files in question became corrupted because of this. The card started working again after running the ZAR software and then Microsoft Vista flashed an error message that corrupt files were found and repaired them. It's been working fine now for 2 weeks.
