Powell Peralta Rat Bones Re-Issue Skateboard Wheels

30 years later these reissue bones are still the same as the originals, Smooth, quiet and grippy. For 10" wide reissue OG boards these are the wheels you gotta try first. I bet you wont want to try anything else after you glide the Rat Bones. The feel, The sound, The grip, and best of all The SMILE all comes back in your first push. When I was a teen I had to save up to buy my Powell ripper with bones wheels. Now I can better afford to build better than imagined and these wheels with super reds took my vintage build to cloud 10.

My son has gotten in skateboarding and I used to ride way back in the 80s. I had many set of these back in the day and these re-issues are as absolutely spectacular as the originals 30 years. For anybody getting back into skating these wheels will not disappoint!!!

Got these to replace trick wheels on a skateboard. They fit fine even though they are very large and wide. Super comfortable and make it easy to go over sidewalk cracks and little rocks. Only downside is the lettering will come off. Got these from warehouse deals with missing letters and saw other reviews with similar comments. It is just aesthetic though the wheels work great. Pictures are after riding a few days.

I love these wheels! They’re exacts replicas of the wheels you used to ride on your old 10” deck which by today’s standards look a little roller skatey, but man are they smooth! The concrete in front of my house is very rough due to the harsh environment of Houston and the wheels I normally skate (55mm, 101a) make it feel like I’m riding on a cheese grater, but these wheels glide like butter! These wheels are a little heavy so doing tricks with them under my board does take some extra effort, but the way they float over the rough stuff makes them worth the extra weight. These wheels are a great compromise between street and just cruising which is what I was looking for. You can always depend on Bones for a sweet ride and these wheels didn’t disappoint.

Wanted to get into freestyle so I got these wheels. They make your skateboard feel like a tank! If you think that's a bad thing don't get them (though I doubt this is exclusive to these freestyle wheels), but I personally love it. I used to not be able to ride around my campus, but now I am able to with only minimal difficulties in sections that are particularly badly paved.Due to the larger diameter, the wheels do bite a lot easier, so I had to tighten my trucks quite bit. Getting riser pads could be another solution, but since the wheels also add height to the board, I didn't want to get any (though I might in the future).

My first time on these wheels made me go 25mph down a small hill (insane speed, smooth, felt in control, and then I hit a speed bump, I flew off and fractured my knees, tore the flesh off, and got pre-patellar bursitis(my knee messed up for a long time)... best wheels ever 10/10 !

Perfect REAL street wheels! Would recommend them to anybody that has to get around on rough pavement.

i weigh 82kgs and ride cruisers, skateboards and longboards.i've tried many different brands (sector 9, orangatang, abec11, bones, etc) and i find the Powell Peralta, 60mm, 85A, (44mm width) wheel ideal for all terrain riding....soft enough to be quiet, smooth and fast, and also hard enough to slide down tarmac and be durable. sugary buttery slides (not icey). i believe that the 90A duro would be too hard and noisy. the width of the wheel is also ideal. not too narrow, not too wide. very stable at speed down tarmac roads but not too wide for skating on flat roads and surfaces.i've tried the 88a duro in abec 11 noskoolz and they are loud compared to thesei strongly recommend these wheels (60mm, 85A)great value for money. i've ordered more sets because these are well worth it

Bought these for carving up bowls/pools. They are still one of the best wheels around for this. A decent hardness for the speed and softness for the grip. Good contact patch makes these a really good all round wheel. A name that has been synonomous with skaters fro decades. Still the best.

These are offset so they stick out a fair bit, On my 8.5 creature punk point deck I had to change the 8.5 trucks to 139 indys (8'inch) which worked perfectly. These wheels are really fast and roll over everything fairly wide but don't look out of place with a shaped deck.

Rod my skateboard the whole day with these on. It's smooth and solid. No sign of wear but time will tell. As of now, very premium feel to it ascetically and physically.

They make me skate fast and eat ass

Very pleased. These wheels transformed my board and I will look at a harder dirometer in the future
