I use the two “grabber” things every single day.

The sock putter on works perfectly. This is me day 4 after a hip replacement.

I had hip replacement and this has been the perfect kit. It has 2 grabbers, one long and one short, this helps when one falls on the floor and you need the other to pick it up. The leg lifter is great because it has a wire in it that makes the loop stay open so it’s easy to put your foot in it to lift it into bed or out of bed. I purchased another kit where this item did not have wire in it and it was very hard to put your foot in the loop without help or raising your body past 90 degrees to get your foot in it. The shoe horn is the right length even though I haven’t used it because I’m still homebound and wearing crocs. The sponge on a stick has been very helpful trying to do the bottom half of my surgical leg and foot. Sponges or loofahs in other kits were too short to do much good. The dressing stick has been immensely helpful in taking socks off and is coated in plastic so you don’t injure yourself. Last but not least the item that helps you put socks on is perfect. This kit costs more than some, but totally worth it as all items are functional and useable.

The feedback from clients is that it’s made a world of difference to their independence and recovery from knee or hip surgery. The items are good quality and work well. Total hip replacement 4/23. I've used all but one of these tools, [the back sponge is short handled and doesn't seem sturdy enough to attain a good scrub]. I have these placed throughout the house based on my needs. I have the long grabber by my living room chair and it's long enough to allow me to grab cat toys from the floor so that I can continue to play with the fur kids even though I've been bed/chair bound. I have the short grabber beside my bed. I've just been released to drive and I keep reaching for a grabber in the car 😁. These two grabbers are priceless!!! I can pick up a 40oz jar of peanut butter from my Bedside stand and bring it to the bed for snack time. When I first came home from surgery I didn't have enough muscle strength to push my right foot into a no-tie sneaker. The pine pole with a hook on one end ➕️ the shoe horn together allowed me to hook the loop on the back of my sneaker and pull the shoe onto my foot with the smooth assistance of the shoehorn. The other component that I could not have survived without is the black wire filled leg lifting tool. This helped me to Glide my leg into position in bed right after surgery, in the hospital, and every day for the first 20ish days at home. The 'value-added' part for me is that I can continue to use these tools long after I recover from this surgery. I bought this set 3 weeks before surgery... the two ended pine pole helped me to get linens off the top shelf, hang clothing on the top rung of my closet, snag a lunch cooler bag from the top shelf of the pantry. The grabbers helped me reach items in the grocery store, grab a sock that fell down between the washer and the wall.... on and on and on.
