Makes a nice clunk when you’re hit with it. Has the same smell you’d remember from elementary school. Wouldn’t change a thing about it! Great price for some good nostalgia.

You never know when a few extra kids will show up for backyard fun. These balls are well made and can be used in a variety of games. The price is right to have a few extras on hand.

Bought this for my 10 year old who uses it to play 4 square at school. You can feel that it is a little heavier than a similar ball you would pick up at walmart, target or toys r us. We've had those before and they last a few months before having a slow leak or deforming. We've been careful not to overinflate the ball so it has not been deform tested, but it's nice and round with plenty of air to give it a good bounce. My daughter notes that she likes that ball has a lot of grip. Also that the ball has a nice simple graphic as opposed to some of the large splash images on most balls. Plus the fact that you can get this ball in a number of colors. May 10, 2015 This ball is still going strong. It's not used as much as it used to, but when we do, the ball is still bouncy, and no lopsided. We've had to add air only twice. Two times! It's not as grippy any more and it has the typical fine cracks of any ball. The key on this and any other rubber ball is to never overfill it. That leads to the ball going out of round. This ball has been stored inside or at least out of the weather. That promotes the longevity being holding air. Sitting in cold through the night and sun during the day can increase the drying of the rubber, which leads to deeper cracking. This will not make every ball perfect, but with the better quality of this ball and those practices, I think has led to longevity and lack of problems with this ball. I still give this ball 5 stars. The ball is great and perfect for what we wanted it for. It is very well made and the thickness is thick and durable. However, I defintely thought the ball was going to be blown up when I got it. I had to make a second purchase and buy a ball pump! I had no idea, I probably should have read the description, or maybe it was silly of me to think they would ship an inflated ball, but just warning others - this ball comes deflated! It is a good value for your money, besides it not being inflated, and you having to purchase a separate ball pump.

Bought this playground ball to re-live the “School yard” game of punch ball with my grown mid age adult children and their spouses. Haven’t played the game in over 20 yrs - since I was the champion and they had the tears of defeat. Well, the table had turned and the solid thick rubber ball held up to some hard hitting. Worth the price of memories. . . And I went home limping and the loser!

Just like they had (eons ago) when I was in school! Works as a kickball, dodge ball, etc. Maybe a bit too large for a kid to hold one handed but I definitely won’t be deducting points for that. Holds air great, I’ve kicked the **** out of this thing and it still held air and didn’t deform it in anyway. This thing was built right!!

Dodgeball is not really a thing done in Australia and it should be. If it is played in schools it is done with volleyballs or basketballs..... These should be available at schools. They are exactly what they should be. Great purchase if you want to play dodgeball. Pump up to about 13 psi.
