Light My Fire Collapsible Pack-Up Cup

Not sure this is for everyone, but I like it. It has a slightly smaller bottom than appears, but it works and is cute.

Yes, it collapse into a convenient size--the grey is a pliable, rubbery (maybe silicon?) material that just stuffs up into the hard plastic top. Hard plastic is quite light-weight, self-hinge on the top does not look very strong. Cup becomes very hot when filled with hot liquids, especially the grey. There are faint 1/4 cup markings on the inside of the cup. Interesting concept, but durability is questionable, for sure...not sure it is worth it.

The Light my fire pack up cup seems well constructed and sturdy. It has stood up well to coffee and tea. It packs down to the size of a hockey puck and is very light. While it only holds 8 or so oz. it beats the original cup in the meal kit hands down. If you are looking for a pack cup to take on the trail to use for coffee, tea or drink mixes then this is the cup for you. If you want a cup that will allow you to drink large amounts of water out of it, stick with nalgene bottles.As for the lid- it is attached to the cup with plastic tabs. They do discolor on the edges where they are bent and over time may fail from fatigue but I don't see that happening for quite a while under normal wear and tear and by that point it would probably be time to think about a new cup anyway.On a Side note, I have been using the cup at my desk at work and it works like a champ for all hot and cold drinks with no problems

I spend several weeks every year traveling around Europe. In the past, I've used a regular hard plastic travel mug when I leave in the morning, but It takes up a lot of room in my daypack. This one is great. I can fold it up after my coffee, and it doesn't take up much room in my daypack. It's well made and the triangular shape is nice. Another nice feature is that the lid is hinged so it can't get lost. The only drawback is that (by American standards) it's really tiny. I think it would take three of these to fill up the travel mug I use at home.

Tiny, top does not snap shut, doesn't stay shut. expensive for a tiny dixie cup size. Other products are larger and collapse down much smaller.

This one was a gift because I like mine so much. It took a bit to get over feeling like I carried a toddler's sippy cup with me. However, the advantage of having a cover to keep the interior of the cup clean from whatever else may be rattling around in my purse is fabulous. I have another I've used for over 2 years and it is holding up well from consistent use. The lid has held up just fine. I like that it has a firm rim to hold on to when using.

I really thought it would be larger, and the 'hinge' that holds the lid on looks like it will eventually wear out and break off. Also, the bottom is very flimsy and not very stable when you set it down.

Right size and perfect for bringing to work!
