First of all I would've bought this even if I hated the color story &thought it was trash, just to support Anwen! If you're unaware of her, she's an affordable makeup reviewer on YouTube &she's an absolute doll! The woman is absolutely delightful &although long winded, very charming. She professes to not be any good at makeup (LIES) &one of her catch phrases is "I mean really guys!" hence the front of the sleeve. All of the shade names are names she picked out for people &places that are near &dear to her. Like her husband "hunies' &her two boys &father (pamps). She's one of the most down to earth, humble, funny youtubers I watch &she deserves all of our support. That being said, the palette itself is phenomenal! I'm no beginner at makeup &I find this to be a very good mix of color. It's actually a rainbow palette with a few pops of neutral &a black with blue microglitters. Upon arm swatching the palette, I found the black to be sort of sheer, the lighter yellowy green (alex) to be sheer &the most beautiful shade in the palette (icy queen) to be hard to swatch but only because it's 100% a topper shade. It's one of the most gorgeous mutlichrome shades I own! It looks light pink in the pan but it's actually an iridescent blue/lilac w/a pink shift. Stunning. It transforms literally any shade into something spectacular &can also make a gorgeous face highlight if you love colorful highlights like me. For the pricepoint? Worth it all day long even just for that one shade!! So happy I got it!

I was so excited 2 see Anwen got a colab! I love her so much! "I mean really" I purchased 2 palettes! Sadly both arrived broken. I put in for replacements. when the replacements arrive I will use the formula & update my review with my thoughts♡♡♡ #iLoveYouAnwen*!!EDITED 2 UPDATE!!* My replacements arrived! Packaging was still the same (NOT GOOD) But by the grace of the makeup gods both palettes arrived intact and unbroken!!! As far as the formula goes, I was pleased. The matte shadows aren't perfect but they are very buildable which is great when experimenting with colors outside of my comfort zone. The shimmers are STUNNING! Like butter! & Pigmented AF!!! Im so proud of you Anwen! Tbis colab was a long time coming♡ BEAUTIFUL ♡ That being said, i am changing my 3☆review to a 4 ☆review. It would have been 5☆'s had they remedied the packaging issues.Sadly they have not. 1single bubble mailer with the 2 eyeshadow palettes just tossed into it with no extra bubble wrap or security foam wrap is asking for trouble with how soft & delicate the shimmer shadows are.

The packaging is very inviting. Like to make a conscious decisions about what am I buying,so I was more than happy to see that this palette has a few positivities for me to buy it. It’s cruelty free, infused with natural ingredients for the longevity and using minerals for the best pigmentations. That was my yes for buying it, my skin is sensitive, specially around my eyes. No disappointment, the day I got, I tried out at least 5 different color combinations and my skin wasn’t burning or wasn’t red. Like the matte and the shimmery colors equally, only difference for me is the lighter colors are nicer on my face and I prefer using them. The darker colors here and there using only in patches. Specially, on the outer corner of the eye, makes it look bigger. Except the matte, the other colors are so soft and creamy. I was using my finger tips to apply. I love the experiment with the colors, to mix and blend them. This palette has beautiful pink shades which are perfect just like that. Didn’t tested the longevity yet, hopefully soon the opportunity will come. Who doesn’t have this magical palette , girls ,you must have this palette!

I am a big fan of Anwen's YouTube channel. She has such a vibrant and quirky personality and this palette matches it. Don't quite get why it was called Cellophane but I just think of it as the "I Mean Really!" palette.I found all the shades to be pigmented. There are a lot of different textures/finishes to the shades. Some almost have a putty like feel like "Okay So" and "Redondo" and those were easier to apply with fingers or a silicone applicator. The super shimmery "Yes B Yes" is very fragile and was broken when I first opened the package. I was able to repress it with 91% alcohol and it still performs well. The shades blend well. The black shade "Starry Night" makes a beautiful liner with its blue sparkles.With this palette you can do very colorful looks and some very neutral looks. I think you could easily use it all 4 seasons.For $12.99 I think you get a good variety of colors and some truly unique ones at that.

This product gets 4 stats mainly because the way Amazon ships it will guarantee the softest shatter in the palette cracks. I reached out to the company and they are trying to fix that so hopefully no one has the same issue.That said, the color story to this palette is really nice. The shimmers are soft and pat intensely with a finger or brush. The topper shades are stunning. The pigmentation is great!For the most part, the blending was simple. However, the black shade needs some work to diffuse.But seriously, for this price, I have nothing but mad respects! The colors are versatile and show true to color on the lid. I used my regular eye primer (Mac paint pot in soft ochre) and my regular application techniques.

Girls got pigment! The first one I ordered had a broken pan, returned it and ordered a new one since Amazon wouldn’t allow an exchange? Also, the first one didn’t come with the sleeve. The second one ordered did tho! Theses colors are gorgeous and very pigmented and creamy. I have about 3 other UCANB pallets that I use almost every time I put on makeup. I refuse to spend $30-$50 on a pallet so I’m always trying affordable ones or dupes. I absolutely recommend. I only wish they padded the packaging more to prevent breakage. However out of the 10 or so pallets I’ve ordered through prime, only 2 have come damaged and they were both packaged together and broke at the same bottom corner. I assume driver may have dropped it.
