Comfortable for steel toes
I think it’s hard to find a comfortable steel toe shoe I got these for my husband and we ended up buying insoles for them but they are better then most I’ll say that.

steel toe boots
Keens are a great work shoe. Second pair bought. Wear them everyday. need some more arch support with them. I don't know how waterproof these new ones are. Will have to wear them in wet environment to find out. Very happy with the product overall.

Had To Return... But I Still LOVE Keen
Let me start off by saying I absolutely LOVE keen shoes. I have owned 4 pairs. And I kept all 4 until I just beat them to death. And even then, they still held up. I've had steel toes, hiking boots, sandals, and loved each one. They're comfortable. And they can take a beating. (I work on construction sites, and am constantly around countless hazards. I trust Keen to keep my piggies safe.) However... this particular pair of shoes didn't fit right. And I don't blame Keen. I blame by genetics. I've got shoes that resemble water skis. I wear a 14 in most shoes. If I wear skinny jeans and put my feet together, I look like a putter. While my feet are long, they're also kind of skinny. I will sometimes get a 13 wide, if I can find it. I thought I'd give a regular 13 a try, since there was a $50 difference in the 13 and 14. (The 14s were more expensive.) They would have worked just fine, if the material on the sides was a little more forgiving. Or if the hole in the top of the shoe that you slide your foot into was a little bit bigger. That material was just too stiff for my liking. Again, I don't blame keen. These shoes just weren't what I needed. And I really wish they would've worked. They're light, they're breathable, the sole is comfy, they just didn't work for me.If you need some "give" in the sides for your foot not to be squished and squeezed, definitely get the wide. The stiff material will provide extra protection, and keep your piggies intact. But not very forgiving if you need room to move around.

Weird fit
These shoes are beastly!! Solid soles, not too heavy, composite toes, durable materials. But WTF is up with the fit? The toes were long and narrow. I even bought a 12W and , while most of the shoe fit great, the toes were still narrow and long. Its like they made the shoe wide, but left a regular 11/12/13 toe cap in it. I even bought a shoe stretcher to try to create that extra space. FAIL. I wanted to love these shoes so much.

Good quality! Bought them for my husband, and he is very picky with his work shoes. He loved them he said they are very comfortable to work with as he works in construction!

Stylish, Comfortable, a friend at work is going to buy the same pair (we are not the matching type)
The shoes are very comfortable and stylish. One of my coworkers likes them enough that he may buy the same shoe (we both like the blue and we are not the matching type). There was plenty of room in the toe with a medium width for me, and I thought they were light for a composite toe shoe that OK for work. The bottom is fairly stiff and I think they will be great on a bike. They do not suck my socks under my heal. After 3 days wearing them I love them.

KEEN.ReGEN is a plus, other aspects are a minus
Been wearing these shoes for 2 months in the commercial HVAC industry. Toe box is bulbous but I like that it is sturdy and wear resistant. KEEN.ReGEN has been an absolute joy to wear. My typical ankle and foot pain is non-existent in the Flint 2. The composite toe is noticeably lighter than comparable steel toes. Traction is amazing, non-slip for sure. Like that it is Electrical Hazard rated as well. However, these shoes are unsteady on uneven ground (gravel rooftops and the like). Also, I can feel the ladder rungs digging into my foot when I climb it. The Flint 2 says it has an "External Stability Shank (ESS) for midfoot support" but this doesn't translate to comfort on ladders. The width of the shoe is too narrow/too compressible causing my foot to roll on the rungs as well. Super happy with the price point of $99. Overall a very comfortable shoe for all day wear, even on big job sites where I tend to walk on average of 6 miles. I don't know if I will buy again though. 4 out of 5.

Bad design
Firstly, I ordinarily have had great luck with Keen products. With the purchase of the last two pairs of boots I have noticed their sizing being inconsistent. These specific shoes had a major issue for me. Right at the point of where the shoe naturally creases on the top of my foot, there was something inside each shoe that would dig into the tendon of my large toe. That point seemed to line up with one of the loops used to lace the shoe. That issue wasn't immediately apparent just trying them on and standing in themnor lightly walking around the house in them. After half a day at work , and with a moderate amount of walking, I was hobbling around badly. I had left the shoe laces quite loose, but that didn't seem to matter. It just seems to be a bad design this time.

Hard to put on, but good over all.
Great shoes, very comfortable once you get them on. They have a "collar" around the back of the ankle/ heel area that is annoying. It is really tight to squeeze your foot in there. If you've ever put flippers on, this is what it feels like. I need to pull hard or use a shoe horn every time. It's frustrating enough, that i wouldn't buy them again. But once they are on they are fantastic.

But.....
Had these for about a month now, comfy with other insoles cause the factory ones suck, they have no heel padding so it kinda hurts and they squeak already in the toe cap area which means it's not totally secured.

Grandeur
Malheureusement , les largeur D et E de la marque Keen sont pareil et trop étroit au niveau de l embout composite.Tres decu, J aimais tout le reste de cet espadrille de securité
