Easy to install once we did the first one. Needed to use different screws for the brackets, but wood screws worked perfectly. They really cool things down in the summer heat.

I ordered 4 of these for our back deck to add to the pergola. All 4 came with everything they were supposed to (I know a few other reviews said they were missing parts - we were not missing anything). Cut one panel off because I had more than enough and didn't want them hanging too low.Have coolaroo rolling shades on the side of the pergola. While the colors don't match, they look fine together.Keeps the direct sun off but still allows the light (not a blackout canopy).Better than the solid sunshade I was originally considering.I live in an area that can get quite windy and intense sun. So I liked the idea of retracting when not in use. We added some hooks to the pergola so we can attach the pull string to them and hold back the canopies when not in use.No long term use yet, but happy so far!

Bought 4 of these 4x16 panels and put them up in about 4 hours. Ours are up about 14 feet high which makes securing them back during wind a pain in the butt, but otherwise, they are quite nice.They are closer to 19 feet long if you have less drape, which is what we wanted.

Take your time to measure and install. it is a good 1 full day project, from setup to final installation. I am quite satisfied with the end result.This vastly reduces the heat from the sun.

We purchased 2 sets of these shades in beige color for our pergola last year. The material stains easily and doesn't clean very well so they look dirtyall the time. Additionally the material comes out of the track on the ends. They look nice at first, but haven't held up well.

So far this retractable awning has been fantastic it's great for the patio pulling it closed or pulling it open as needed. It would be nice if they had a way to keep it open or closed with wind but I suppose everybody's application is different. I use bungee straps in case the wind wants to open it at night or close it while we're out. The 1 bad part is the Carabiner pins or Springs must not be stainless or aluminum because they're slightly rusting and I'm sure it will be an issue in the future. Hoping it doesn't run down to the fabric and stain the fabric.

Shades are very durable and very easy to install. Set up is crucial, you will need to install the carabiners and the control tape. This took about 20 mins/shade. It took me about 15 mins/shade to install the guide wires and brackets and clip the 3 x 19 retractable shades into place on my pergola. All equipment was there and I could not be happier with the result.

Great product, exactly as described. If you have any sort of mechanical ability the installation is a breeze. One person can put this up no issues but I’d recommend pre-assembling the shade sail on the ground, in doors so you don’t lose any of the tiny hardware.I’d keep in mind this fabric is a plastic material and is easily deformable so leaning on it with even the slightest bit of force will stretch it and it will not return to its original shape. If you have to cut the shade to fit your application I’d also recommend taking a flame to the ends to melt the plastic and stop it from fraying apart later. Otherwise this product is amazing for the cost.

Depuis longtemps avons chercher des voiles de qualité pour nous proteger du soleil dans notre pergola. Un toit solide cache la lumière est c’est obscure. Celui la on peut l’ouvrir et fermer facilement. Bien sur il ne protege pas de la pluie, mais pour nous le plus important c’était de nous proteger du soleil. Bon achat

These shades work well for our deck, look good and of fair quality for the price. Would highly recommend. Husband assembled. It took him most of the day, not difficult just time consuming but well worth it!
