Jonathan Green (10820) Fast Grow Grass Seed - Cool Season Lawn Seed (3 lb)

We have bought every grass seed out there. Yes it grew the. They all died. This grass seed is the best ever! Grows within a week. Green as ever. I will never use another grass seed but this companies. The other grass seeds by this company are all great: the shady nooks for no sun and the shady dense grow beyond your imagination. The Uktra grass seed is wonderful it is the greenish green and you can see the difference. I can’t say enough about this grass seed.

I wasn't expecting much but this worked great. I had a pool put in last summer turning my yard into a big mud slide. I temporarily put fake grass down on most of it. But this summer I wanted to see if I could get some grass to grow. I have a lawn guy, but I still have a deck to do so I decided to give this a try and he could do his magic if it didn't work when he starts his service later this month after the deck is up.I must admit I didn't follow many of the directions. I just sprinkled some seed a couple of weeks ago when I knew there would be a rainy week. Other than the rain the weather wasn't great, we were going from 80 degrees all the way down to 30 some nights. I figured if it didn't work I can try again. I only did about half my yard to see how it does. Two weeks later and it's growing nicely almost everywhere except for a couple of areas with really compacted clay soil. Did I mention we have horrible soil? I had another bag so I aerated those spots and raked some top soil in before I sprinkled more seed. I also added seed to more of my yard except for the area where they will be working on my deck. I am more than thrilled with the result. Excited that this year I'll have grass in my yard again.

I have been using this for over two years. It always grows fast and works perfectly. I recommend it to y'all.Thank you so much for a good product at a reasonable price.

I had a super shady spot that needed to be reseeded. Believe the reviews!! This is "fast grow" seed. I raked the area first to loosen my partial clay type soil. Lightly seeded the area, raked again and laid a final light seeding.Within 5 days, the grass was sprouting healthy and beautifully.Of course, it was easy to use but as far as water retention, only time will tell.I would definitely purchase again for other areas down the road.

As a longtime lawn enthusiast, I was deeply disappointed with Jonathan Green’s Fast Growing Grass seed. What sprouted in my yard doesn’t resemble normal lawn grass at all - it has the appearance of quack grass, which is essentially a weed that’s difficult to control once established.I cannot recommend this particular product from Jonathan Green. The results were nothing like what was advertised on the packaging, and I’m now faced with the challenge of dealing with what looks like an invasive grass species rather than the lush lawn I was hoping for.It’s worth noting that not all Jonathan Green products have disappointed me. Their Black Beauty grass seed line has been excellent in my experience, producing the attractive, hardy lawn I was looking for. If you’re considering Jonathan Green products, I’d suggest looking into Black Beauty instead of this fast growing variety.Save yourself the frustration and avoid this particular seed mix.

Took to long to grow. It’s not quick at anything

The stuff was crazy how fast and thick it grows. I fertilized it one time and it grows almost twice as fast as my other grass

Why did you pick this product vs others?:My husband loves this stuff. We haven’t really had grass in our yard for quite a few years. It’s been a lot of weeds. He bought one bag of this sprinkled it and we had a lot of grass growing now in the little areas where it just needs some I’ll buy some and sprinkle and there’s those areas!
