Unparalleled Suede Conditioner
I consider Saphir to be the best shoe treatment products in the world. I will say that Saphir has two leather treatment products. This one and a generic leather treatment spray. That one contains a lot more product. I ordered this one because I wanted it for specifically suede shoes, so I accepted no substitutes like leather or numbuck treatment. It is worth every dollar you pay for it.

Perfect for reviving vintage suede color!
I did a lot of research before purchasing this product. Saphir is the supposedly the best in the industry. I ultimately chose it because of its reputation and the fact that it uses almond oil to condition the suede, not something lower quality. The product is meant to be used to rejuvenate your suede, not completely dye it. If you need to completely dye your suede, you will be disappointed, but if you want to refresh your color, this product is amazing! It leaves the suede soft while bringing back color. You can see how big of a difference from my before and after photo. It completely brought my vintage suede bag back to life.

Excellent product
Every Saphir product I've used has met or exceeded my expectations. This one is no exception. Easy to apply. Great color restoration. Best when used in conjunction with Saphir Omni'Nettoyant for precleaning and Super Anulver afterwards to repell water. (I recommend watching multiple YouTube videos to get a firm grasp on using these products as the instructions on the product I received were not in English.) This combination really brought my 1995 Rockport chukkas back from the brink. They'd never had any TLC as long as I've owned them. I simply didn't know what to do to nubuck leather. (I've never used this product on suede because I have none.) If you don't overdo it with the spray, you should get 3 or more treatments from one can. If your dealing with extreme neglect, as I was, and badly need to recolor your footwear, you may use the entire can on one pair. If you've used any silicone or "nano" type products, wash shoes/boots with a solution of equal parts ammonia and water and let dry before using these Saphir products. Otherwise they will not be able to penetrate the coating.

This made a great job on my Red Wing boots
I had a nice Red Wing boots of nubuck and I want them to last a long time so I go some goods from Amazon: I got the Saphir Omnidaim Nubuck & Suede Cleaner (ASIN B002NOPJ9S) and once I got my boots cleaned and dry I applied this Saphir Medaille d'Or Suede Renovateur. I wish I had the before and after pictures but trust me, worth every penny! Made a great job giving a great look to my boots!Highly recommended!Note: instructions are on small letter but you can search for the official website from Saphir to read more.

So Far This Works
I used this on my pair of UGGs. I used this in conjunction with the Saphir Shampoo for Suede product. I will say I have not yet had the chance to really test the results, but so far it seems like a good product. I gave it a 4 because I have yet to be caught in a good rain with these boots or had a bad stain happen as of yet, but I believe it is one of the best products out there. I used the neutral color and I will say that MAYBE after using it the color "slightly" darkened but not to the point that anyone other than me would notice. I think with every waterproofing product I've ever used it will always slightly darken your shoes, but when I say sligtly, I mean I'm not exactly sure if that's the case. I would recommend the product over other products because I used it on my UGGs and after shampoo with the Shakir for Suede product followed by this waterproofing and conditioning Shakir product, I will continue to use it for years to come. I can see it adding years to my boots as well as other shoes.

Great finisher for suede
I had dyed a cobalt blue suede ankle boot with black alcohol based suede dye, and it took 3-4 coats of the dye to get it to a dark navy color. In the process it dried out the nice suede pretty badly and I thought I had ruined the shoes. As a last effort I got this suede renovator - and it worked perfectly! It took the navy all the way to a nice and even rich black color, which was exactly what I wanted. It also softened up the suede and brought it back almost to its pre-dye softness.I did apply it closer than suggested, about 4 inches, in order to get the color coverage. I ended up using two coats. Really happy about the outcome!

Boots look great!
I used this in conjunction with the Saphir Invulner spray to waterproof some suede boots. I used it because other people who reviewed the Invulner say to use this first, so I did. I have a few pairs of suede boots which I wear nearly daily during the winter and don't want them to get stained, or be worrying about my shoes all the time. So far with both sprays they are impervious and they look exactly the same as they did when new. I'm sold on these two products. They're pricey but not as much as having to replace suede boots.

Good stuff
This was selected after reviewing several similar suede treatments. It does not disappoint… it’s easy to apply, dries quickly and does not darken the leather. So far, my shoes and jacket are soft and look new! I feel confident they are protected from light precipitation and snow as we enter the winter season.
