(I would recommend you buy carpet with the rubber back
I restored my bass boat last spring, I went with carpet for the lighter weight and the rubber backing. (I would recommend you buy carpet with the rubber back! Not only will it last much longer! The glue will not seep through and create a hard spot). The carpet cut very nicely with no runs at all. I have a 17ft 6ft beam bass boat. Every bit is carpet and I had a 2' x 6' piece left over. If your boat is any bigger you will want a bigger roll!
