Definitely not blackout, they are not even lined. The fabric is a thick polyester type so it does block some light.Curtains were delivered with vague black and white marks on them which I am hoping come out in the wash as it's too much hassle to return right now. They are a darker shade of burnt orange than indicated in photos, but this isn't a massive deal unless you're looking for a very specific colour.They were a decent price so I can't complain too much, but definitely room for improvement and not the most accurate description.Unsure whether to give 3 or 4 stars so I'm being generous based on price.

Does a good job a keeping out light only thing that puts it down is the size we ordered the size exact for our windows and they come up short by an inch if your going to buy I'd get the next size up

The curtains are a good colour and lightweight, but that do not offer the degree of blackout that was expected. Although the curtains do block light, a fair amount of light still penetrates.

We have a lamp post opposite our bedrooms. The previous blackout curtains we had didn't block out the light very well and were quite stiff.. After reading the reviews we bought these for the spare bedroom which has one window & they are so good that we bought two navy pairs straight away for the two windows in our bedroom. They're brilliant and keep the rooms really dark. I love the tab tops - we used café rods which made them so easy to put up. The fabric is lovely and soft.

Love these curtains - they're lightweight yet also thick enough to block out most of the light. We're using a thermal backing layer for extra protection but honestly I think these would be great just as they are. Love the colour of the White-ish Grey curtains... but it is more on the grey than white side. Amazing value, very happy!

Lovely curtains perfect in my sons room but would have liked them a little bit brighter but would recommend them.

I have to say I’m a bit disappointed with these, the colour is nothing like the orange in the picture and unfortunately the light comes through quite a bit, I do also have these in cream and they block out light really well
