Been trying to write a children’s book for a long time and this was one of my favorite as a kid and always wanted to make something like this so I got it for inspiration

The seller took exceptional care preparing the safe shipment of the children's book that I ordered. Everything about this purchase was above any of my expectations. I liked that the seller’s critique of condition and value was of professional grade.

My son received this book as a gift when he was about three and it soon became a favorite of both my kids. I was thrilled to be able to order a new copy when his daughter was born (I'd kept the original, which was a larger size, but it's pretty battered). I figured it would be years until she became interested, but she's 22 months old now and it's been her favorite book since she was about 8 months old. The drawings are exceptionally creative and rich with peripheral content that is endlessly fascinating to small people, and each page offers lots of things to talk about with the child. Though not yet two, my grandaughter knows every monster from A-Z, and just loves the idea of little creatures that hide in corners and dance around when no one's looking. I highly recommend this book--and am back buying two more copies for baby gifts.

When my kids were growing up they loved this story and I read it to them at least once a week. I bought this for my daughter to read to her children. She was excited to get it!Great read with awesome illustrations!

I got this to share with my youngest grandboy. This book is in better condition than I was hoping for. I can't wait to read it to him. Mercer Mayer has to be the best illustrator ever!

Fantastic children’s book that my grandson has been asking for since it was read to him at a friend’s house. Silly and fun and the alphabet, too!

We received this book as a gift for our oldest little one in 1981. We read it and read it over and over again to each new baby that came along (we have 10). Now that they are older and most are married with their own little ones, we have given them a copy to read over and over again. It is our favorite gift for anyone that has a baby as it is ageless and timeless. It is clever, colorful and delightful. We all love it! Everyone that we give it to falls in love with it. Thank you, Mercer Mayer for the gift that we will keep on giving!

I was highly disappointed in the book I received. The pages were pulling away from the binding, the color seemed quite faded and there was a chunk of the hard cover missing. No pages were torn or marked, but I had to use book binding glue to repair what I could of the book before giving it as a gift. For the price of this item I expected much better.

This was my absolute favourite book as a child. A friend of mine is having her first baby and I wanted to pass this book onto her - imagine my disappointment to find it's gone out of print. I'm very happy to have found a used copy in excellent condition!

This book was a replacement for my Daughter who loved it so-much when she was a child it made her Birthday ! ( she is now 42 years )
