**Q: What size filament does the pen need?**
A: The Start+ uses 2.5 mm filament strands that are low-heat, BPA-free, and non-toxic. At this time, we do not recommend using other brands of 2.5mm filament that have not been safety tested for use with the 3Doodler Start+.

**Q: How long will a charged pen last and what type of battery does the pen require?**
A: On a full charge, the pen will last 45-60 minutes, depending on us. It can also be used be plugged in connected via a USB-C charge cable. It uses a built-in rechargeable battery.

**Q: What can I draw on?**
A: Because of the low temperature, you can draw on just about any surface, including paper or even your skin. We recommend starting on the included Doodlepad, activity guide, a wooden table, or a countertop.

**Q: What can I do if I encounter a problem with the 3Doodler Start+?**
A: To change colors or remove a blockage - remove the maintenance hatch, press the reverse button and pull the filament out.

Bought for my daughter but I am having a hard time sharing it with her. This is such a cool tool. The more I use it the more I see what can be done with it. When my daughter can pry it away from me, she makes the most creative things too. Opens your creative mind in new ways. You can use with silicon molds too… just found this out. Wish the battery lasted longer because we could use this all day long. Be prepared to buy more filament because you will want more colors to make more items. Make sure you buy the correct melting temp for your pen. You can use the pen directly into your skin and no burn. Completely safe for children with no risk of injury. Own turns off if left on. Note: it does not come off of clothing. Great if you want to decorate clothes but not if you don’t want to. Overall it’s awesome!!!
