Easy to fit.I've mounted it below a small lintel between the kitchen and utility.Very piercing alarm.Hopefully no more alarms from slightly burnt toast...unless it catches fire!!

Easy to instal, hard to review battery life as only had it for 2 months.Will only find out when there is a problem if it works.Seems to test OK

Seemed to work once assembled with batteries and tested, but I was concerned that the alarm box was open inside the amazon brown paper packaging with a ‘ new item’ label stuck on the box. That isn’t confidence-inspiring that it indeed is new! I have bought from this seller before so no reason to doubt authenticity , and I guess there is a warranty. So I guess as long as i keep testing it regularly I’m fine with that.

Didn’t know you could get these or I’d have had one sooner. My old cottage is heated by a log burner and smoke alarms would go off regularly with smoke coming from it when I refuel, the smoke can go thro into the front room and up the stair well if there’s a strong wind! I now feel much better having this (plus regular smoke alarms where I can) . Will be telling neighbours!

Replacement for a 10 year old detector and fitted the old screw holes!! Bonus!Exactly as described. Recommended

This seems like a good unobtrusive little alarm for domestic kitchen areas where smoke alarms can easily be set off by smokey cooking. It was easily ordered, delivered promptly, and packaged well. Delivery was well notified. I have not evaluated the battery as it has only just been received but I hope it will last a good while as I am a landlord and obliged to change them when they run out.

This is great, got to replace my standard smoke alarm which I had on my landing but it kept going off when the bathroom door opened after a shower, which was so frustrating! I didn't know if this would work as says not to mount in a bathroom but it does the job, it doesn't go off when there is excess steam but hoping if it's needed for fire it will deliver!

Works fine with shrill alarm, would be better if bought with inter linked smoke detectors for current legislation in Scotland
