I’ve been manually entering my measurements in the FITINDEX app since I got the scale years ago and it’s kind of a pain. I like seeing the non-scale victories but I’m really random with measurements cause it’s always annoying to find tape and trying to be accurate while holding and measuring. First world problems, amirite?Just bought this smart measuring tape and immediately tried it out in each body area the app tracks and it works GREAT! Sooo much easier! Now I’ll have consistent measurements with the same tape and it can all sync to the same place. It’s a little expensive but I think it was worth the cost.

Love how easy it makes taking your own measurements. The app is awesome because have CRS (can't remember S). I can also keep track of changes since I'm on my weight loss journey. The tape could have been a little more sturdy. Trying. To attach it was a but challenging hence the 4 star. This is a great buy especially for people losing weight when the scale seems disappointing 😆.

Easy to use; accurate.

Just got my new fitindex measuring tape. It came with a battery and great instructions, so I was able to begin using it right away. I love that it works with the same app as the scale, so, I can use it without switching apps on my phone. It connected easily once I opened the app and turned on my Bluetooth. One of the things that I love is that I can easily take measurements without the aid of another person. The end of the tape locks into the device and sbugs up against my body with the push of a small button. I can log that measuement into my fitindex app by choosing the area that I measured and then by pressing the check mark to record it.The device automatically switches off. No need to worry about draining the battery because you forgot to turn it off.You can also switch between cm and inches just by touching the on/off button quickly. It will stay in the mode you select until you change it again.So far, I love this device. Ill add another review once I have used it for a few days.By the way, I have the fitindex scale.....it is amazing. Can't say anything bad about it. My husband and I both love and use it daily!!!

Fit Index Tape MeasurerIf you have a Fit Index Scale and you have been wanting to do the measurements, you have likely seen this in the "things to buy" section of the app.Yeah, you can probably skip this and just use a plain measuring tape.First - battery somehow didn’t fit it right and would not turn on unless I took the cover off.Second - the tape measure is really fiddly; you have to get it to lock in the end and it is always coming out if you have any tension, or it will lock in so tight that you worry you will break it taking it out.Third - it is kind of difficult to figure out the app that takes the measurements.Every time I try and take measurements, I am faced with it turning off, unhooking, getting the wrong measurement in the wrong place in the app. It basically takes what shouldn't be a very long process and turns it into a 15-minute stressor that when you are done, you aren’t sure if you got the right measurements because your previous ones are wildly different.BUT --- That’s just me. I live alone, and had to operate this thing on my own. People with partners or with someone to help guide them, and maybe have a bit more patience that a person with ADHD does, might very well do better.It is accurate, so the different measurments I get are probably because I had trouble getting it around the body area just right, in the same spot and not having it come unhooked.So, take what I said with a grain of salt. Yes, it's accurate, but there is a bit of a learning curve here and it helps to have a partner or friend to give you a hand.

This measurement tool pairs great with my FITINDEX scale, which I bought some time ago. The FITINDEX App is easy to use and super helpful for tracking progress in different areas of your body. I love seeing the non-scale victories!!This smart measuring tape gives accurate measurements and teaches you how to do them. Now I do not have to use a conventional tape measure, which makes seeing true progress less accurate. Definitely, this measurement tool is worth the cost.
