WavesRx Aluminum Sand Anchor - WaveCobra

Really cool design and it works great!
I saw someone post about this new beach anchor in a boating group and decided to give it a try. To say I was pleasantly surprised when I received the anchor is an understatement. This thing is High Quality! Great design and craftsmanship, WavesRx definitely over-delivered on this one, and for the price, I honestly haven't seen anything better on the market.Took my 19" boat out twice last month and used the new anchor on both occasions. It held my boat for hours without budging an inch.I have tried a spike anchor from a different brand in the past, with limited success. It would start to slowly move within the first 30-40 minutes under moderate waves, and I had to reinsert it almost every hour to keep the tension. Eventually I gave up on that old anchor and it is now collecting dust in my garage. The WaveCobra anchor is a keeper, and I love how light and compact it is.

Effective, really great quality, lightweight and easy to store. Best beach anchor I've seen.
I did not see anything else like this on the market. This beach anchor is really awesome. You can feel the quality the second you take it out of the box. It's shockingly lightweight that even my kids can swim with it to shore. It goes into the Florida sand like a hot knife into butter. The quality is what really struck me, it feels like something much more expensive. I ain't no welding expert but those aluminum welds and paint coating do really look great. It held our 26ft Sea Ray in place even on a pretty rough day on the water and it goes in completely and does not stick out of the beach to become a hazard. There are no sharp edges except for the part that goes into the sand, and even that is not sharp enough to cut anything or anybody. The sand washes off relatively easy and it small enough to store in any compartment. Good luck finding a better beach anchor for this price. I forgot to take pictures last time we were on the water but will try to take them next time.

Great Anchor, buy with confidence.
Normally don't write reviews, but this anchor works very very well. It held a heavy 3-person cruising ski (with a heavy cooler) on a 10mph wind day on the gulf side of the florida coast. I used a 5-10 spring line and it got loose once. Keep in mind, wave action was significant so I'm very impressed. Extremely light weight. Takes a second to bury it, you have to step and wiggle, step and wiggle. Comes out ridiculously quick by pulling in the opposite direction. In light or no wave action, this thing can probably hold a small boat. Buying another one right now for my other ski.

Excellent compact sand anchor
I tried several sand anchors of similar size and this was the best.-The dog stake kind of sand screw is small and easy to put in the sand, but pretty much worthless from a holding standpoint.-The big yellow plastic snap together screw tip anchor held well, but was huge (about the same size as an actual 20' boat anchor even when disassembled) and took forever to screw in and out of the sand. The wavesrx anchor is really small and light (fits with no issue in a tiny Seadoo Spark PWC storage area), only takes a couple seconds to stomp into the sand (and pulls out just as easily), and holds really well for its size (takes a really strong adult to pull it out horizontally). The manufacturer was also very responsive and helpful, responding to emails several times in the same day.

Durable and lightweight
Very Nice looking anchor, lightweight, compact and easy to use. Flat top plate makes it very easy to insert and retrieve. No more carrying 2 bulky rusted anchors and bumping everything on the way when beaching a boat. Finally I can at least get rid of one bulky anchor. Anchor is made from Aluminum in gun-metal color looks really cool and should not rust. Also no more stepping on edges of an anchor when in use!

Wish someone told me about it earlier!!
Your browser does not support HTML5 video. Earlier this year I bought a $200 anchor to use as secondary when we beach our boat. Since it was a heavy deepwater anchor it was a PITA to haul it on and off the boat. It also didn’t work too well on the beach as it would get dragged by the boat during windy/wavy days. Then after my son hurt his foot when he accidentally stepped on the old anchor while chasing his sister, I decided to look for another option.Someone mentioned the WavesRx anchor on a boat forum, I liked the idea and decided to give it a try. Ialso saw that they sold a bungee anchor line and got both.Light weight , easy to set (one foot step on it) super pleased !

Extremely light weight, well built, and worked well.
Held a 12ft (3m) sailboat and TWO outrigger canoes in about 3ft (1m) of water. I was impressed. I ordered two more and the people I was with asked for the link.

great for the sand bars on the river
We used it for the first time today, at first I wasn't too impressed but then I realized it was operator error. Tie the anchor rope off as low as you can on the bow and have enough line out so the rocking motion of the boat isn't pulling up on the anchor, once we did that it held for hours while we enjoyed floating in the river.
