1 lb 8x1-1/4" Tan Exterior Screws

I've used a lot of different screws over the years and these are the best. They have excellent gripping power, are easy to drive into even composite material. What I like best is that they don't slip when driving long screws into tough wood. I've found that a lot of the torx/star head screws will slip unless you really put a lot of force onto the screw. These don't require that, just drive them normally and no slippage. I only use these exclusively on my outdoor wood projects. They save time and that is money.

Love these Phillips II combo head screws. Don't know why Home Depot stopped stocking them. Don't like the ones they have know and it is frustrating when you have some of the combo and "new" star/tourq head screws-your have to switch tips. I will buy these as long as I can. Mary Ellen from TEXAS

These are quality items. You can pick up these items at a local home improvement store but it is also nice to buy them online as soon as you realize your inventory is low. Good products at a good price.

These are the perfect deck screws with the old Phillips/square drive that doesn't snag and pull the bit out but with a little larger shank size than the originals.

The box could have been better like at the local home depot (the box was essentially beatup cardboard wrapped with packaging tape)

The newer screws use a star-like bit, so you can't use a big phillips head like with these.Can't find these screws locally anymore, so online it is!
