This is THE stuff to use on your brake pistons, either on rebuilding the calipers or when just resetting your pistons during a brake pad change. It also conditions the rubber gasket and protective hood for the piston. When replacing your brake pads, after cleaning the protruding portion of the piston, rubber hood and area around it, apply to the piston side wall that is accessible and to the rubber hood. Then compress the piston back into the caliper with a caliper compression tool (it is better to bleed the brake fluid through the release valve whilst doing this). These are all the lubricant materials you need when doing your brakes, and don’t bother with anything else:- ATE 03.9902-0521.2 Bremszylinder-Paste (for brake pistons)- Dupont Molycoat CU-7439 Plus (for brake pad faces, pad clips, disc mounting flange)- Dupont Molycoat 111 (for caliper pins, caliper spring, around electrical connectors)
