Noter for the Mountain Dulcimer

I am a beginner soI have to learn to use my new notes.

A great walnut noter at a good price easy to hold and has a great hand. You get what you pay for. If you are looking for a cheaply made noter this is not it. This looks great and is easy to use and will not damage your strings or the noter.

I don't believe this noter is "rosewood". It's obviously a lighter wood stained rosewood. My arrived with a chip out of the working end. Very disappointed!

This works very well. I’m new to dulcimer playing and don’t know what to compare it to but I’m quite satisfied with this. Well made.

I am just learning the Mountain Dulcimer, and use this noter occasionally. Some have said that it is not made of wood, but it definitely looks and feels like wood to me. The pick is on the small side, but I am still trying to find a pick that feels most comfortable to me. This one is nice, but I think it is a bit small for me. I am trying to use my fingers in the frets, but have not yet developed callouses. So the noter saves my finger if they start to get sore. It's OK for some songs, but you are really limited in fretting if you use more than the melody strings. I'm glad that I bought this set, but I don't think I will use it much as I get better at playing the dulcimer.

I would have loved this if it was made a little longer. It’s works fine, but men have larger hands. As to my personal confronter if it was an inch to inch in a quarter to short. If made a little longer the grip would be so much better to hold.

Bought this as a starter gift for a friend.

This noter looks nice and feels good in my hand. It is large enough to get a good grip and maintain control. It would have been nice to have a softer pick, but this pick works for my guitar.
