Awesome hammock tarp
I'm a big fan of Onewind products this is the third Onewind hammock tarp I've purchased and the second of this type. I've had my other two for years and they're still going strong. I purchased this one for another hammock setup.I see the quality is still high on their tarps also the shock cord tie outs are now reflected which is cool and it comes with four small Carabiners. As usual all the seams are sealed with tape and the tie outs are reinforced. You really can't beat the quality, size, and price of this tarp.

This thing is a palace!
Full disclosure, I am a full blown hammock camping nerd. I actually bought this to use as a two person tarp, but I'll be taking it solo too now that I've set it up and looked at it. My wife and I were planning a backpacking trip and wanted to try out the Dutchware beetle buckle tandem system, for which you need a wider rectangular tarp with a 12' ridgeline. As much as I wanted to go cottage vendor on that, I simply cannot afford one from dutch or hammock gear or warbonnet or the like. At $200 for a tarp that's a bit beyond my budget. One day I will get one, but it's not gonna happen this year. I looked at this one, had seen the previous version before, and was shocked to see they made it longer and out of silnylon, and tons of tieout points. That's a heck of a deal for $85. I swapped out all of the cordage for my own dyneema guylines, linelocks, and stakes, but I do that with every backpacking tarp to fit my setup style. The stuff they provide is not bad tho. All I really care about is the quality of the tarp itself. All of the stitching looks great, the tieout points are properly reinforced, and the ridgeline is taped. The side panel pullouts are a nice touch too at this price point. As you can see in the photos (some of which I took on an extremely windy day), I've got a few pics of it set up as winter/storm mode as how I'll be using it solo, and then also with the head end corners propped up on trekking poles for when the wife and I hang two hammocks under it. And with the continuous ridgeline I am able to use my trekking poles as a pole mod for the side panel pullouts. It's also not too heavy. Not the lightest either, but it's definitely fine for backpacking. All in all, this is a steal. I am very impressed and thankful for the level of quality that went into this and still staying budget friendly for those of us who might not have the means to go splurge on top quality cottage vendor gear. If you are new to hammock camping and are finding the costs of getting a whole new setup to be quite financially painful, trust me when I say this is among the best options you'll find if you are trying to go the budget friendly route.

Versatile and budget friendly
I have been wanting a tarp that has doors for quite some time now, however finding one that is of good quality and won't break the bank is harder than you would think. I have purchased several other pieces of Onewind gear and I have always been blown away with the quality of their products. I have also always found it amazing that you can purchase such great quality at such a budget friendly price. And with this tarp they did it again, great quality and a great price in one light weight package. I absolutely love the versatility of this tarp. You can set it up in so many different configurations and it comes with everything you need to hit the trail. Whether you are hiking your favorite trail or exploring a new area, you need to be able to rely on your gear. Having peace of mind that you will be covered and out of the elements no matter what Mother Nature throws at you is huge when you are on the trail and away from the comforts of home. This tarp allows you to bring that comfort and peace of mind with you no matter where you wander. "Hike your own hike" I truly believe in that saying. I have used everything from a small asymmetrical tarp all the way up to a full 13 foot by 10 foot three pound tarp. I don't think you should just purchase a piece of gear just because you see everyone else using it. I believe you should purchase the type of gear that you are comfortable with using and that you can afford. Just because a piece of gear is expensive does not mean it is the best and just because something is of lower price does not mean it is of lower quality Do your research and purchase what you want.

best hammock shelter!
this thing is the best! I have used this shelter during blizzards and crazy rain storms. keeps you warm and dry just like a shelter should! the many tie off points give you a bunch of options of how you can set it up and it's super durable. I have been using this shelter for almost 2 years now and it hasn't failed me yet.

Great hot tent tarp with one but, that but is that it is heavy when hanging in the way described by the manufacturer. On a continuous ridgeline with prusic knots it is like trying to hang a very wet oversized wool blanket, no fun in strong winds. It would be far better with a lighter material. The trick i have found is hang it over the continuous ridgeline with better cordage. However it's a good winter setup.

Fits above my 11' hammock perfectly. I have combined it with my onewind rainponcho/tarp and I am able to create several bonus customizations to my setup depending on weather. On it's own, this tarp is super lightweight and folds and tightens almost flat in my pack. Setting up is super easy, especially combined with the onewind ridgeline. The cordage is strong and long enough and the way you can bundle up the extra cord and lock it makes it even better. I keep all the cords folded and organized still attached to the tarp and it fits easily in the stuff sack. Also the stuff sack is double sided so you can attach your tarp without it touching the ground. The pegs are aluminum and sturdy with ridges cut into them and with loops of cord at the end you can remove and use as prusiks wherever if you want.
