Works well to adjust a one or 2 inch discrepancy in pant sizes. My weight dropped for a period of time, and this allowed me to continue making my work clothes functional. Fasten pretty securely!

My son got a new pair for jeans. After the first wash the button fell off. I put one of these on to replace it and it is working perfect. I am not sure if it should be removed for washing but we have not. The button is still attached after several washes and working well.

Pro: it solves the problems as described, so that’s great.Cons: uncomfortable, you must tuck your shirt inside the jeans. Second, it’s extremely hard to pull it out.Conclusion: I will continue to use.

I like these a lot! I have several pairs of pants that can be too loose/too tight, depending on the time of the month or if I've just eaten or whatever else. Sometimes, it's the same pair of pants that's too tight one week and too loose the next! And these buttons are the perfect fix for that. I wouldn't think they'd be good for more than an inch or so of adjusting, just because it can slant the zipper and make it look weird if you go too far. I find them pretty sturdy. I've washed pants with these buttons still in, and they've stayed just fine. I will say the post can bend easier than I'd like, but that also means it's easy to un-bend back into shape. All in all, a great tool for a great price.

The buttons are very easy to use and will reduce your pants size to fit you in seconds! BUT they are not very sturdy considering they bent slightly within minutes of using them.

I like these buttons. Some open better than others but other than that, they are great tools to have.
