I really loved this dress. The cut was flattering even though it was a bit large for me. I returned it only for that reason but will purchase it in another size later. The quality was very good. The detail in the skirt was nicely done. I am overweight but it did not look like a tent on me. It gave me shape through the waist and the length was perfect for someone older, shorter and heavy. It was formal enough but I would still be able to wear it for less formal occasions. Very versatile.

I bought this as an option for wearing to a family wedding. Color is a rich teal peacock with lots of sparkle in the rose ribbon skirt material. I tend not to wear clothing that pulls in at the waist but I was pleasantly surprised at how well it fit and looked. The v-neck was very flattering. The dress felt lovely on and the flair of the skirt would have been just fun for dancing. Unfortunately my personal fashion review board (nieces and sister-in-law) felt another full length Alex Evenings dress would be the better choice. They are probably correct for a formal July evening wedding. The jersey top might have been too warm. I almost wish I had another fancy event to attend so I could have justified keeping the dress. I do agree with another reviewer, the belt is a little wonky and would have most likely needed to be tacked down in place.The fit may be a bit on the generous side but I find in plus size clothing the size numbers are all over the map.

Beautiful, comfortable with a knit lining for ease of movement. The fabric is just lovely— lacy soutache and sequins. It flares out at the bottom and is mid-calf length. However beautiful it is, I feel like it’s too “mother of the bride” for me. I feel matronly wearing it.

A very pretty and well made dress I will wear for my daughter's late afternoon garden wedding in England. I bought 2 sizes. Mfg warns the dress runs large and they are right. I returned the larger size which is my usual size. The smaller size fits well enough, I might take it in just a bit since I'm a seamstress, even though my husband and daughter think it looks perfect as is.

The dress is beautiful. It fit from the waist down but I had to take two and a half inches up in the sleeves cuz it was too big on top. It looks great now

It fix as expected. The fabric is very nice and well constructed. I would recommend this dress to others. I don't care for the shawl, but it came with the dress.

I love the fit of this A line dress! I didn't even need to wear a shaper under the dress it looks fabulous on its own!

I am short and curvy but this dress fits perfectly. The fabric is beautiful and it will be perfect for our son’s wedding.
