Mr. Knightsbridge (The Mister Series Book 2)
Dexter ran a jewelry store and was a designer. His shop was in acompetition to win a place for a new piece of jewelry for The Queens Tiara of Finland. He wanted to bring back his reputation of his parents. His brother and himself lost their parents in a accident. Dexter is definitely determined to renew his parents legacy. He meets Hollie, a intern with a different organization and she doesn’t give him the time of the day, doesn't call him back for a date. She does not have time to spend with him. She loses her internship with the other jeweler. So she needs to go back home to Oregon. Dexter offers her a internship. She takes him up on the offer, that's when sparks start flying for both of them! This author has done it again with another sexy story. Enjoy😀

So Good
I loved Dexter and Hollie's story. So far this series had been worth the binge purchase. Dexter and Hollie are so right for each other. She helped him see what family is really all about and he helped her realize it's okay to let people help you and it's okay to go after your dream. Oh and I just knew Dexter's brother David had a reason for selling the shop. So now on to Mr. Smithfield Gabriel and Autumn's story. This should be fun

When a tragedy changes your life…
Louise Bay puts a sexy Pom in the (hero) hot seat, and you end up with the best romance stories around. I absolutely LOVED Mr Knightsbridge and wore a big goofy grin from start to finish. The hero was amazing, and I loved seeing his emotional growth throughout the story. The heroine was strong, dependable and determined to be more than what she was born into. There was a little bit of a fairytale feel, but that made it even better. I wanted Dexter to sweep Hollie off her feet and make all her dreams come true… because making her happy will give him the dream life that he never knew he wanted. When someone says that a tragedy, like the death of a loved one, changed their life, you mostly think about the emotional impact of the loss. In Mr Knightsbridge, it wasn’t just the emotional impact, it was the events surrounding it as well that changed Dexter’s life. I don’t think Dexter realised how his perceptions changed when he lost his parents. It took a lot of years to see that what he remembered was different from what happened. Betrayals, or seeming betrayals, felt like gunshots to the heart. What he thought was true love at 19 years of age was just immature like-a-lot. Only those he trusted… the ones who followed his orders and told him what he wanted to hear, could get him through the dark times. It seemed that looking past the betrayals, lost love's, and mistakenly being wrapped in cotton wool, could only happen after he meets a woman who loves making jewellery as much as he does.Hollie has come to London to change her life and follow her dreams. She’s sick of living in a trailer in her small town, working to pay her bills, her parents bills, and her sister's bills. Hollie does it because she thinks it’s her responsibility to take care of her family. Her dreams had been put on hold while she helped pay for her little sister’s college education. She wants for Autumn what she didn't have a chance to have, an education and a chance for better. Now that Autumn has nearly finished college, it’s time for Hollie to live her dream… leaving Oregon and designing and making jewellery.I absolutely loved Dexter and Hollie’s relationship and how they fell in love. I knew they were right together because they weren’t afraid to be honest with each other. Honesty can be hard, but it is the only way to have a successful relationship, in my opinion. Yes, forthrightness can hurt but if you can’t be or share who you really are, there really is no hope. Being candid with someone can also help them to realise that anger and resentment can hold them back from seeing the truth. Sometimes being frank with someone your care about can help them realise that you can’t help someone if they can’t help themselves. Sincerity, truthfulness, and honesty helped make Dexter and Hollie’s relationship work. The Mister Series is becoming one of my favourite series by Louise Bay. The characters are engaging, the love story makes my heart flutter, and the sexy times are HOT! I can’t wait for the other Misters to find true love.

3.75 rounding to 4 stars
I had high hopes for this story because of the polar opposites of the characters. Sadly, it didn't live up to my expectations. It was a solid book, but it is not one that I will probably ever reread again as it never really took off the way that I was wanting it to do. I struggled with the connection between Hollie and Dexter. Perhaps, if it had more time to focus on the building up in their relationship then it would have been okay but instead, it felt forced. I liked the idea of Hollie coming from the environment that she did; dirt poor, trailer park, parents that were lacking who strived to better herself. However, the whole premise that she had an Etsy shop that made a couple of necklaces but then was able to be an intern at a Jewelry house in London was even a bit of a stretch for me. I realize that this is fiction but this was a real stretch. However, I did like the resolution with Dexter in regards to his animosity and that is the reason that this book is being rounded to a four. Will I still read on with this series? Yes, even with certain predictability from this author, she is my guilty pleasure. Even though this book was not my favorite, I suggest finding out for yourself as to whether this is a hit or a miss.

A feel good romance
This story was a bit of a slow starter for me and I really wasn’t sure which way it was going to turn out. So far though There hasn’t been a Louise Bay book that i haven’t loved so I decided to keep going and wow, I’m really glad I did! This was the turning point for me...“You don’t have to offer me a job to get into my panties. You are welcome there. There’s a little brass band down there, ready to say hi whenever you’re ready. They have banners and balloons. There is no job required.”I honestly laughed so hard and finally felt the click with the characters I had been hoping for. From this point I didn’t put the book down and found myself completely immersed in the story.Dexter and Hollie are from 2 different worlds but when they collide it’s clear they are meant to be together. They push each other out of their comfort zones and call each other out on their family troubles.I really enjoyed the natural progression of their relationship and the way they were just made for each other. This was very much a feel good romance that was packed with emotion and left the reader with a smile.

When opposites attract!!
Swoon isn't a word I use often, but wowzas Dexter is swoon worthy! With a name like Dexter Daniels, I mean come one!! He and Hollie are total opposites. They are at such different stages in their lives, neither really has the space or time for the other. Oh but together... sparkling perfection! I'm trying really hard not to put jewellery puns so I'll quite while I'm ahead...!My reviews tend to be feelings based, there are plenty with story outlines here that can give you that. But what gets me is how a story makes me feel. This made me feel utter joy above all, something we can all do with. This is a classic, full on romance. Louise Bay pulls at your heart, makes you go 'awwww!' And hug a pillow... OK maybe that's just me! I was so eager to finish it I did read too quick, so I'm impatiently awaiting the audio so I can relive this sparkling story.Thank you Louise for another Louise Bay classic!!

Hollie & Dexter
Dexter Daniels - jeweller extraordinaire with an hereditary talent. He’s essentially British jeweller royalty. His private life is less successful, gems take priority.Hollie Lumen - ferociously independent and self-reliant. Hollie is in London to complete an internship for her dream job, it’s all taken away from her when her internship is cancelled. Certain she will have to return home to Oregon, Dexter steps in to offer her a position with his company. When a crisis sends Hollie home it seems like everything is over between them. Dexter decides that he’s not ready to give up on his life with Hollie. The banter between Hollie & Dexter is fun and engaging. As different as they are they connect deeply and the gradual growth of their relationship was entertaining.

Excellent book
What a wonderful story. What initially comes across as a lighthearted romance, actually has some hidden emotional layers. Dexter is determined to win the jewellery competition because he’s got a score to settle. He’s focused and driven, that is until he meets Hollie. Hollie hasn’t had the easiest of lives but she doesn’t let it get her down. Hollie’s attitude has Dexter reconsidering some of his previous deeply held views of his past. I really enjoyed reading this book. I’m really enjoying reading the series and I’m looking forward to reading the next book in the series. Roll on Mr Smithfiel

Addictive read
This book was just everything. Dexter Daniels was just the most amazing character. Usually you read a book where the main H is moody, possessive and jealous, but no, he was so charismatic and charming even though he was broken from his parents death at 19. Hollie was not your average h, she was strong, independent and caring of everyone but also not believing in herself due to where she was brought up.I loved that the book was set around jewellery and winning a design competition. It was so refreshing to read something different. Dexter and Hollie had incredible chemistry which in turn set the pages on fire.If there was lesson to be learnt from this book it was that you shouldn’t hold a grudge against people, especially if you don’t know the full details of the ‘incident’.I was hooked on this book from the start only taking me a day to read. I can’t wait for Gabriel’s book to be released.
