Excellent bra, a little small in the cups
I love this bra, with some caveats:CONS1)The cup size definitely runs small (one size small), and2.) you are never going to have a 100% smooth line under thin t-shirts because of the trim on the top of the cup.PROSI can live with these, however, because it is hard to find a good bra in my size and this bra does everything else I wanted it to do, namely:1.) a balconette style bra which gives a flattering bust line for shallow or full on bottom busts (so, excellent for those like me who have nursed a few kids and have that classic shape)2.) excellent molded contour cups, absolutely no show through, and I don't see how you could (also a plus for those who have spent a lot of time nursing)3.) Versatile neutral color and cute button detail make it fun to wear4.) Fits me perfectly after I tweaked the sizingON SIZININGI was surprised how short the shoulder straps are because I'm 5'2" and started with them on the loosest setting and that just fit. They stretched out after a few wears and I now adjusted them down 1-2 inches. Need to account for a little stretching with your band size. Shoulder straps might be too short for taller people/longer torsos.I have not found a Cleo size chart anywhere, though bratabase is helpful, and the general rule with these bras is your band size=your actual rib cage measurement and cup size is the usual bust measurement minus band size (difference of 4 inches for D, 5 for DD, etc). My measurement are 28.25 and 32.5. I think either a 30 or 28 band could work for this measurement, but I decided to start with the 28 (and use an extender if needed in the beginning) because I was concerned the 30 would fit on the tightest hook and then stretch out too much. I started with 28D. Especially since I'm so shallow and FOB, I thought this would work. Obviously way too small and no way I could make it work. I went up to the 28DD and with a little adjustment to the shoulder straps it fit perfectly! (I did make an 1 inch extender out of an old bra, but after wearing the cleo maddie 2-3 times it stretched enough that it does not need an extender and fits perfectly on the loosest hook). I'm very happy with the sizing and looking forward to owning it for a long time. Would buy again.

My new favorite bra :)
I am new to panache bras and ordered several different styles from the cleo line to try out - the maddie t-shirt bra is by far my favorite! It feels so comfortably secure while giving a lovely, rounded yet natural, shape and has pretty detailing without anything that would be lumpy/visible under thin or clingy fabric. I used [...] to confirm my size (30FF) and this bra was pretty dead on - the band feels a smidge tight (even on the loosest clasp) but I imagine it will relax after a few wears so I wouldn't go up a band size, the cups are perfect. I've tried several different shapes to find what suited me best (thank you free returns with Amazon Prime!), I have even to full-on-the-bottom projected breasts, fairly low set and wide spaced. This bra gives just enough lift for me to look a little more perky than usual and creates modest cleavage while slightly narrowing how my breasts sit on my chest quite nicely- and keep in mind it's molded but not padded, which is what I was looking for, this is definitely not a push-up bra. One of the factors that made me pick the maddie was the balconnet cut, the center gore comes up a bit high which may be a turn off for some ladies but, at least for me, it sits nice and flat without cutting into my breast bone and I tried on several shirts when the bra arrived and even my fairly deep v-cut shirts or low button-downs worked well and the balconnet shape is really ideal for wide and deep scoop neck styles where other styles often show the top curves of the cups near the shoulder straps. I also want to note, as someone who most often wears sports bras (not that I'm overly athletic, I just prefer the more strapped-down feeling), this particular style feels like it hugs my breasts closer against my chest than a lot of the other cleo styles which I find more comfortable. I also ordered the cleo neve plunge bra and while I like the maddie a bit better for my personal wardrobe I had a very similar fit and shape with that bra, so anyone who liked the neve plunge would probably find success with the maddie as well. hope that helps!

If you know your actual bra size, this is a great buy!
First: Make sure you actually know what bra size you are. The staff at those major bra chain stores do NOT know what they are talking about. Your band size is not measured around the fullest part of your bust while you are wearing a bra. Seriously, that should be common sense. Your band size is measured... oh I don't know... where your band actually is going to sit maybe? You need 3 measurements to figure out a bra size, and also consider that every single bra brand is going to measure differently. UK and US sizes are not equal, so being a 32DDD in one brand will make you something else entirely in another. The best way to ensure you don't waste time, money, or sanity is to try these on in store and get used to changing sizes often. Hormonal changes, weight gain or loss, and a shift in the wind will all cause your size to change. Not only that, but a 32DDD in a balconette bra might fit you differently than another cup style, and hey, also your breast shape will be a factor too. Try it on in store and save yourself the trouble prior to buying. This bra is comfortable, cute, and fits properly if you know what size you actually wear. Ignore all the bad reviews from people who clearly did not understand the odd sizing from every single brand out there. I saw a video on YouTube about Bra Fitting 101, so if you are new to the bra sizing game, or are tired of bands riding up in the back, spillage, quad-boob, etc., check it out. You only need a mirror, pen & paper, and a measuring tape. You don't even need to be wearing clothes.Anyway I recommend this bra and this brand in general because I have a few of their bras and they last a long time and are comfortable. Also, I recommend keeping a couple of sizes around for those days when you've gained or lost a cup size. Seriously, the only thing you will lose is drawer space. Stock up.
