Sooooo yummy and fluffy! I am new to eating vegan and these are great because they taste like the pancakes I’m used to eating. They are super easy to make and my kids love that they are pink. I will def be getting another color.

The Suncore Foods Power Pink Pancake Supermix is a convenient mix that includes healthy whole ingredients and no added “fluff”. The pancake ingredients list is very short: I bleached all purpose flour, red dragon fruit powder, date sugar, baking powder, and rose salt is all that’s in the mix. To make the pancakes, simple add a 1:1 ratio of pancake mix to milk or water. The instructions initially direct you to include 1 1/2c mix to 1 1/2c milk/water. For thinner pancakes, you can add more water, and for thicker pancakes you can add less. After combining the liquid and mix, simply mix, let stand for about 5 minutes, then cook using butter or oil in a pan. You can also add the mix to a waffle iron to make waffles.The resulting pancakes were flat and slightly rubbery, similar to generic pancake mixes. While it was neat seeing the pink colored pancakes, our family really wasn’t impressed with the texture nor flavor. When put into a waffle maker, the mix actually performed much better. The outside was light and crisp while the inside was much more airy. It wasn’t the best waffle we’ve tried, but it was way better than eating the mix as pancakes. As far as pancake mixes go, this is one I likely wouldn’t buy again. The pink color is novel, but is one that is easily achieved by adding fruit powder to a pancake mix. Even the Suncore bag states - “for more vibrant color, add Suncore Foods Supercolor Powder to the mix”. In terms of texture and flavor, I can easily make a pancake mix from scratch in less than five minutes using flour, sugar, salt, baking powder, water and oil, and get better results. Lastly, if I want a convenient “just add water” mix, there are a lot of other more cost efficient, plant based mixes that just taste better. Overall, this is a novel looking pancake, but nothing I would recommend or buy again.

It’s flavorless which is good if you only wanted to use it for color. I bought it because I’ve seen on social media posting the vibrant color of the pancake. I was disappointed that When I used it the color of my pancake is pretty dull. And the pancake is flat not fluffy at all, consistency is a bit rubbery too.

This is so good! Purchased twice already because we went through the first bag so quickly! Everyone in the household loved this mix! Also, the pink is so pretty! Doesn't have a funny taste or smell simply good pancakes!

First off, this mix is the best mix I’ve ever used— the taste is perfect. Seriously, I used it in my Belgium waffle maker and it’s better than even restaurant waffles. My photo shows it kind of crisp- got distracted while cooking, but it was still great.That being said, the portion/serving size instructions are confusing— like how many pancakes x amount of mix makes. Basically it’s 1:1 mix to liquid ratio- I used 2% milk. I just wanted one waffle, so I made 1/4 cup. A 1/3 cup would have fully filled the waffle maker. Next, they need to change their marketing- I was kind of confused as to why it is called Power Pink— I thought maybe it had added protein or some sort of supplement in it, but it’s just pink mix- from what I have read. Also, it is very expensive- I wish they’d lower the price point, because you don’t get a lot.

My daughter (2 years old) loves these “pink pancakes hooray!!” and we as parents love that they are organic and good for her! The color is great and this is a fun breakfast to make for her on weekends!!

The mix was decent quality. But honestly just tasted like normal pancakes. Very thick with water called for in the recipe so added a little more to thin out.
